cassie-1-2-3 Bella doesn't get attacked simply because she's human. It was because she chose to spend her time with vampires, which is agains the rules. If she wasn't with them, James wouldn't have gone after her, Laurent wouldn't have gone after her, Victoria wouldn't have gone after her, The newborns wouldn't have been created. The Volturi would have had no need to step in. All that didn't happen just because Bella was human. It was all triggered by a rule breaking decision. I'm not sure who mentioned anything about true love, or how that's a necessary argument about how you look throught the years, but arguing and bickering isn't required to be in love. If you can really handle yourself properly, you know how to get through issues and disagree without arguing. Hermione aging 7 years and Bella aging two has no merit at all to which story is better. Each Harry Potter book was intended to cover the course of one school year. Notice how they read "year 1" "year 2" "year 3" when indicating the cronological order of the books. If I really wanted to, I could argue that Rowling put too much restraint on time frames. Each books starts the same, with Harry stuck at home, tortured by his aunt and uncle, someone wisks him away, he gets into trouble at Hogwarts, there's a house cup, he goes home. Next book. You're pretty much saying, Harry Potter is longer, so it's better. I think Bella looks older in each movie. I'm looking at a Twilight poster and a New Moon poster this very moment. It's clear that she"s gotten older, but that's because the actress got older. This would have been easier to see if the person who made this hadn't used the same picture, from the first movie, where she's at her youngest, four times. Emma Watson started HP as a preteen, right before the second most rapid growth spurt a person has. Of course her ageing is going to be more apparent. Also, why would her style change? Why would she get a new wardrobe if she's the same size? It's only been two years.. I have clothes older than two years and I don't see anything wrong with that. I've also had the same hair style for a few years. It"s normal. It's like that picture of Harry wearing the same shirt years later. Meyer had nothing to do with the production of the movie. It's not her fault the screenwriters decided to mess with the time line. I'm just saying.

Gred_and_Forge She doesn't have to change her style completely, but at least get a haircut or something. Wear something else besides a long sleeve shirt and jeans. I think S Meyer rushed everything too much just so Bella can have a happy ever after. Even when she was a year older than Edward, she stressed over it way too much. There are a lot of couples where the female is older than the male, but they don't let it get in the way of their relationship. Stephenie just wanted her to remain young and perfect just like Edward. Cho was older than Harry, but that didn't stop them from dating for awhile. Regarding terms of love, if I were Bella and I was dating someone 'perfect', I would be beyond happy. Seeing as she will always be with him, why does she put herself down and say they don't match. Edward still loves her, so why shouldn't she be happy? It seems like she's always in an angsty mood. The only time she's 'happy' is when she describes Edward's perfect features, at the same time putting herself down. Ugh. He loves her for that? She could learn to stop being so emo and just be grateful that someone like Edward has fallen for her, js.

MissKnowItAll I think that the character of Hermione develops more over the series, but I agree with KatiiCullen here. She's right- as Vampires, the characters cannot change. It would be nice for them to be able to stretch it out a bit, but they can't really.
