It was a rainy hari and Kate was getting ready for the caribou hunt,"i hate the rain"Kate mumbled to herself as she shook her fur.She stepped out of the cave and went to meet hutch.Meanwhile Garth and Lilly were just getting up"morning honey"Garth berkata as he put his paw through Lilly's bulu to wake her up,Lilly's nose twitched,"morning Garth"he smiled at her,"i'm going out to watch Kate's hunt"Lilly jumped up,"oh wait for me!"they both headed for the hunt."Hiya Hutch anda ready for our hunt"Kate berkata to Hutch,"of course i'm ready its just the weather i'm worried about"Hutch berkata while looking at Kate's wet but sexy fur.They slowly headed for the caribou while slowly crawling in the grass,"p'st Kate anda go that way and me and Cando will go this way that way we will trap the caribou"Hutch whispered Kate turned and nodded her head.Garth and Lilly sat at the puncak, atas of the bukit, hill where they could watch Kate hunt,Garth turned to Lilly,"I hate rainy days it disturbs the hunt" Lilly simply nodded her head.Kate stalked the caribou while Cando and Hutch went to the back of the caribou,they got closer and closer but suddenly Kate felt her body falling to the ground and her spine snapping as a caribou dashed over her,she screamed.The sight was horrible the caribou launched their hooves right into Hutch and Cando's face making them both bleed from the jaw,Kate's body lay on the ground as blood dripped from Kate's paws where caribou had stamped on them,Hutch and Cando dashed to the side and called for help.Garth watched the sight as Lilly screamed for her sister while tears fell from her eyes,Garth dashed down to the scene but suddenly he spotted Humphrey dashing to Kate,"Humphrey! HUMPHREY!"Garth shouted ,Humphrey dashed over,Humphrey's eyes were wet and his body was shaking,Garth placed a paw on Humphrey's shoulder,"listen i know anda want to save Kate but we NEED to get the caribou away from her"Humphrey berkata nothing but simply nodded to Garth .They headed down to Kate and growled at the caribou,Humphrey clawed at the caribou,"get away from her!"Humphrey screamed,one of the caribou's antlers caught Humphrey's paw making it snap,Humphrey yelled but carried on scaring the caribou away,Garth made it to Kate's body and defended her as Humphrey got the last of the caribou away.Garth lifted of Kate and headed to Lilly to comfort her,Humphrey looked at Kate and tears fell from his eyes,"no anda can't leave me ...you....you ...you just can't"more pack members arrived including Winston and Eve who were grieving,Lilly looked at Kate and looked away still crying .Humphrey licked Kate's nose ,"come on Kate ......get up.....get up....please KATE GET UP anda CAN'T LEAVE ME!"Humphrey shouted with upset but still no movement from Kate,Tony walked over to Humphrey,"i'm sorry but....she's.........................dead"Humphrey burst out with tears as Lilly hugged him and took him away from Kate's body.The pack howled and placed a rose in Kate's hair.....she was now ....gone.
