After a 16 hours of almost nonstop driving, 4 bathroom breaks, 2 meal breaks, and one traffic jam, we stopped for the night. We paid for a night, and within 10 menit of walking through the door, everyone was asleep.

We all awoke to the blaring alarm that I had set. It was almost noon, and we needed to get back on the road. After a hasty breakfast provided oleh the motel, we were all back in the Nissan and on the highway once again.
The entire driving time yesterday, I had maintained a good 8 mph over the to save some time. The Nissan GT-R Spec V was lebih than up to the task, capable of reaching 187 mph.

The officer stepped from his car, shut the door, and walked slowly up to my window, hand resting lightly on his service weapon.
I motored the window down to speak with him.
"What's the problem, officer?" I berkata politely.
"You were going 85 in a 75 zone. Why anda traveling so fast?" he drawled in his South Dakota accent.
"I'm just trying to save a little time," I said.
"Can I see your license and registration?"
I handed him the documents.
"Wait right here," he said. He walked back to his kapal penjelajah and got in, undoubtedly to process my information.

A few menit later, the cop stepped from his car again and came up to the window, carrying a yellow slip of paper. I groaned.
"I'm giving anda the ticket for speeding," he said, and launched into the spiel about appealing the ticket and what happens if I don't pay it. He handed it to me and I heard a low growl come from behind me.
I paled and looked back at Kate. Her teeth were bared and she was staring daggers at the cop.
"Kate!" I hissed. "Stop that!"
"If she attacks me, you're going to jail for assaulting a police officer," the cop snapped.
I hurriedly reached my hand back and put it on her head.
"Yes sir," I berkata shakily.
"Have a nice hari and slow it down," he berkata as he went back to his car. He pulled out and was soon gone.
I sat there for a bit.
"Kate, what were anda thinking?!" demanded Scar.
"He's a jerk!" she contested hotly.
"That may be, but he's in charge," I said.
I pulled away from the curb and kept 4 miles over the limit.
