Blood sputtered from her mouth. Lips quivering as she peered up to the girl's limp body in the man's arms. The girl she swore to protect. There was no way he was going take Melissa's life before her own.

"Me..Mel..." She strained to get the words out as maroon liquid continued falling. Mel opened her zamrud, emerald eyes, and in them Blade could see the fear behind the strength she tried to cover it with. The winged girl fell to the floor as she began to be brutally beat oleh the men.
Screams echoed the building. Blade struggled to her feet and began sprinting at the men ignoring all messages her body sent to her brain telling her the pain was escrutiating. She could feel it, she was so close to Mel.
"Mel!" She screamed.
"Blade!" Mel cried out.
"Gimmie your hand!"
Mel threw out her hand and Blade was inches away from it. She grasped it and pushed her way into the group of men and hunched over Mel like a lock. Blood dripped on Mel's cheek as Blade took kicks and punches.

Melissa nodded and crawled out under the girl and began running. Blade looked up as she felt a sharp pain in her back. Steel hit bone and Blade fell, limp, her eyes fixed on Mel who was still running. "Run Melissa... run." She let out a faint smile which quickly turned to a expression of anger as she saw Mel get tackled. The men covered her mouth with a cloth which calmed her screaming and knocked her out. Blade growled and tried to pindah but was enable.

"No..." She pushed her self to her feet somehow. Quickly Blade was knocked back down oleh being hit again. The man's words were acid. "You can't get her back. She belongs to the school now." They man spit as he gave Blade a hard kick.
"Give her back!" Blade cried.
The man leaned down selanjutnya to her ear.
"You care about this girl very much anda mutt."
"Shut the fuck up and give her back!"
"You're just a weapon, Blade, just like Melissa."

"Noone likes a bitch, darling. Plus that pisau had a posion that slowly kills the victim oleh paralyzing them then eating away at tissue and bone. It's awfully painful."
"What!!? You're sick!" Blade spit.

Lifting Blade's limp body up he walked with the other scientist.

Melissa was set on a cot while Blade was chained up to watch. Needles penatrated Mel's skin and she twitched. Blood spilled onto the cold floor leaving droplettes of marron reflecting the pain surging through Mel. Tears stung at Blade's eyes as she pushed meneruskan, ke depan screaming.
"Mel! Wake up! Mel! Please..."
Mel stirred. Suddenly her eyes shot open and a cry escaped her lips as her body thrashed side to side under the straps that minded her down. Green eyes met watery red,"I won't cry, Blade, not in front of you."

"Mel!" Blade growled her eyes turned to yellow; her pupils turned to slits; her teeth bared, and she ripped her hands free, bleeding, but free. Closing her eyes slitly she slammed through the glass and tackled a man; crushing his wind pipe with her jaws.
Punches sent men flying, breaking legs, ribs, and backs. Finally they all lay dead and it was just Mel and Blade. Mel's eyes had closed and she was lying there lifeless and cold.

"Shit..." Blade closed her eyes and wiped away a tear. "You can't be dead." She growled as she removed the needles and picked up the young girl. Blade walked up to the man scientist shaking,"Do-don't ki-kill me... Please!" A hiss escaped the blonde's lips,"Spare a sick bastardly coward like you... No." She stepped on his chest crushing his ribs into his lungs leaving him alone to choke on his blood.
All rage left her and now, like a bullet, Blade felt pain and sadness. She fell to her knees grasping onto Mel tightly.

"Mel... anda can't be dead... please. Don't leave me here. You're the little sister I never had. anda can't die!" Tears slipped from her eyes and she let out a cry,"You can't be.... I swore to protect anda with my life! Just wake up!!"
Mel laid there lifeless not a breath not a beat of her heart.. Nothing. Blade's eyes met the man that was still struggling to breath.
"You.." She hissed as she placed Mel down and walked up to the man.
"You will suffer lebih than just this." She growled and picked up a piece of shattered glass and stabbed the man.

Mel buried her face in Blade's bloody hair.
"Let's get back to the cave to get some pills to ease the pain."
"Okay..." Blade smiled at the girl.
"Oh and Blade..?"
"Yeah?"

Blade was speechless... she nodded and headed outside straight for the cave.
