Is it ok to send BL komik jepang and Doujinshi from jepang to US?

Hi.
I have a pertanyaan about sending BL komik jepang from jepang to US.
I bought a lot of BL komik jepang and Doujinshi and sent to my sister.(She lives in Japan)
maybe 20 BL komik jepang and 10 Doujinshi.
I wonder,,,is that ok to send that from jepang to US?
I'm afraid if we get in trouble to do that...
It's not shota atau loli. but Doujinshi is R rated.
Has anyone send from jepang to US?
any trouble? atau no problem?
Overseas shipping is available at some Japanese BL store...so I bet people buying from them,,,
