Prologue
I woke up. I couldn't see well, but I was able to see myself. I have grey fur, grey patches on my legs, paws, and tail, with a blue tip on the tail.
"Hello?" I called out. Gosh, I didn't think I knew how to talk.
"Yo! Are anda alright?" A voiced called out to me. Someone was trying to find me!
"I...don't know" I responded.
"You don't know?" The voice responded. It was a white female serigala with purple eyes.
"Who are you?" I asked her.
"I'm Lilly. It's nice to meet you. Are anda new?" Lilly asked me.
"Again, I don't know" I responded. I didn't know if this serigala was friendly atau not.
"Okay...what's your name?" Lilly questioned me again.
"I think it was...something...I don't remember" I responded nervously.
"Something unknown?" Lilly asked.
"No...that's not my name. I think it was Unsung..." I responded.
"Alright, Unsung. Want to come to my pack?" Lilly offered me.
I thought about it for a bit, but the answer was still obvious.
"Okay, I'll go" I responded.
"Okay! Let's go." Lilly smiled.

When will this end?
Mass shootings
Terrorist attacks
Police brutality
They say it's just a gun control problem
They say it cannot be fixed
I say the problem is deeper
I say there is hope
When will this end?
Income inequality
Veterans living on the streets, penniless,
Dying oleh their own hands every day.
Some say they will make America better
But nothing has changed...
And I truly do fear
Nothing ever will
When will cinta start?
The hari we offer a hand to the fallen
Instead of cringing back in shock
And running away
When will our world change?
The hari we cinta too much to kill
The hari others' pain becomes our pain
The hari we act instead of just talking about it
"It's impossible"
"We're too broken to be mended"
"It's a hopeless battle"
Yes, it's hard, but let us try.

Newly born
Squeals
Pitifully
A tiny voice raised high
Going nowhere
Confined
Confused
A single spot on the page
Then
It grows
And walks in waves and braves the pahit wind
Shakily on its spindly legs, it smudges the paper
bernyanyi its first tune
A tiny tune
Twirling and whirling
It grows taller
And tougher
With every beat of its half-grown heart
It grows
Joined oleh others
They sing together
A forgotten voice
A reflection
Of lost symphonies
Tooting their trumpets
They stand to attention
An army of discord
Marching forth
Into a brand new dawn
Squeals
