Tails was setting up the materials he was going to use to build the plane when someone knocked at the door. Tails put down the piece of metal and went to the door. “Hurry up Tails; I’m not going to stand here all day!” He opened up the door and Sonic was there tapping his foot and his arms were crossed. “Hey Sonic, what’s up?” He uncrossed his arms and leaned against the door selai with his elbow. “Did anda hear those explosions this morning?” Tails gave a nervous laugh. “Yeah, about that. I went up in the Tornado to see what was going on, but Eggman shot me down with a laser and I crashed. Hard.” Sonic was surprised. “Really, glad to see anda came ok.” “Yeah, and I had a little help as well. Come with me I’ll tampil you.” The two of them walked down the hall and stopped at a door. Tails opened it and looked inside. “But you’ll have to be quiet.” Tails whispered. Sonic’s curiosity piped up as he poked his through the doorway and John was snoring on the couch. “Well tails, looks like your new friend’s a snoozer.” “Look at what he’s holding.” Sonic looked at his hand and saw the chaos emerald. “Whoa! “ He took a step back from the doorway. “I thought I had all seven.” Sonic turned towards Tails. “If he has one, then does that mean there could be more?” Tails looked a little troubled. “I’ll know when I study that chaos emerald, I’ll understand lebih about it.” “More about what?” The two of them jumped when they found that John was awake and was standing at the doorway. “Whoa! anda nearly got me there!” John nodded. “Sorry about that. But I was wondering. Since I got nothing to do around here, mind if I help anda out, Tails?” He shrugged his shoulders. “I don’t mind, just be careful not to blow up the workshop.” John gave a small laugh. “You’re kidding, right?” Tails turned towards Sonic. “Well, while anda are here, anda could make yourself useful.” He turned towards the door. “Well, I gotta run. See ya!” He ran through the door and the rush of air closed it. “So, where shall we begin?” John asked. Tails started walking down the hall. “First, we’ll build the frame. Then the selanjutnya thing is the engines and other main components. Then finally we’ll rivet in the hull and give it the paint job.” “Gotcha.” John started following Tails walked into another room. “Wow.” It was huge, metal sheets and tools, and lots of other things. “You okay John?” Tails was at a computer bringing up blue-prints of the Tornado II. “It looks like anda have everything in here!” H e gave a small chuckle. “Yeah, just about.” John shook himself back to reality. “Huh. Well then, let’s get started.”

It was almost noon when they started on the frame of the wings. Tails had one wing hanging selanjutnya to the body and was just about to weld it when John realized something. “Hey, wait a sec! The wing is off oleh ten dgrees.” Tails looked a little confused and looked at the wing and realized his error. “That was close, how did anda know that was wrong?” “Well, I was looking at the blue prints when I saw that-“ John cut himself off. “What is it?” John had a flabbergasted look on his face. “I..I usually don’t know how to read this sort of stuff. To me, it used to be just a bunch of lines, but know I can read just like a book. It’s as if it comes naturally to me.” “John, maybe the chaos eerald is doing this. It’s just a theory, but maybe anda and the zamrud, emerald have some sort of link together. It could send information directly into your brain. It’s possible your getting smarter!” John looked worried. “Do anda think it could do other things as well?” “I don’t know.” There was a small moment of silence. “We should get back to work. At this rate, we’ll be done oleh around 5 o’clock.” Tails nodded and moved the wing in the proper position and welded it in place.

“All done!” Tails and John sat on a bench, tired from the work. “After a rest, wanna go for a test flight?” Tails asked. “Sure, why not?” John replied. Both if them fell asleep on that bench and Tails’ head fell on John’s shoulder.

“Success! I now have Sonic’s DNA to my viewing. Now let’s see……AHA! I found it” Dr. Eggman was dancing at the spot. “I found it! I found the gene I was looking for! Now, according to research, I need to find them. They would be located there, under the ocean. I will need to prepare for this excursion which will take me two weeks. “ He walked out of the lab and went to another rooom to start planning.

“Aww, isn’t this cute? anda two are just so alike. Wish I had a camera.” Both John and Tails awoke with a start and jumped to their feet. “Oh, it’s anda Amy. anda scared me.” Tails said. “Yeah, ever heard of knocking?” John griped. “Well sorry! Obviously anda don’t know how to treat a lady properly!” Amy said. John held up his hands and backed off. “Sorry about him, he’s not from around here.” “It’s ok, have anda seen Sonic? I need to tell him something.” Amy said. “Well, he was here this morning, but he ran off.” “Oh well, guess I will see him sometime. Bye Tails.” “Bye Amy.” She walked away and there was a distant sound of a door closing. “Hey Tails! How about that test flight?” John yelled from the workshop. “Yeah! Just let me pindah it on to the runway!” Tails yelled back. He walked to a computer and typed in some comands. “Huh?!” John berkata as there was some mechanical whirring sounded. Tails walked to the landasan terbang, landasan pacu and the was there with John in the Copilot’s seat, waving at Tails. “Nice contraption, but I could’ve used a worning.” John said. “Sorry, won’t happen again.” Tails walked up to the plane and climbed into the pilot’s seat. “I already checked all the systems, everything is in the green. All anda need to do is turn on the engine and take off.” John said. “Thands!” Tails pushed some buttons and the propellor started spinning. The plane jerkjed forwards and picked speed as it moved down the runway. Then it lifted up into the air. “Looks like everything’s running smoothly, but this is just while flying straight. What do anda think, wanna push it to the limit?” John asked daringly. “Yeah, let’s do it.” Tails maneuvered the plane into sharp turns, nose dives, and even a loo de loop. Then John felt something like a pull. “Hey Tails can we land?” He nodded and set the plane down on a field of grass. John jumped off and walked towards a small forest. “Hey John, where are anda going?” Tails got off and follows him. John saw a small blue body in the distance and started to run. Tails also saw it and used his twin tails to fl towards the body. “Is it Sonic?” Tails asked. “No, it looks like him, but he has a jaket like mine.” John said. The jaket had red lines instead of green. “And he is holding a chaos emerald.”
