Flare realized it was Scar and Bard. and most likely Nook was around too. "Throw her with the boy and give her one of them Nightmare Crystals. That'll keep her quiet." Scar walked her over to one side of the cave and through her into a cage. She got up and noticed Thorn was in there too, staring at a Nightmare Crystal. His nightmare was his Rose being beat up oleh Bard and his gang , while he was tied up helpless. Flare noticed that he was skinny and pale. " What have anda done to him?!" She yelled. Bard looked at her. " Scar, I thought I told anda give the pipsqueak a Nightmare Crystal!" Yelled Bard. Scar came running over immediately and put a crystal in front of Flare. She immediately looked away. "How are anda guys not affected oleh the crystal?!" She demanded. Bard laughed," The same way anda are, oleh not looking at them too long. If anda look at them for lebih then 3 seconds, then you'll end up like Nook." He pointed at Nook who was a victim of the so-called Nightmare Crystals. "I know your friends are here, anda wouldn't come in here oleh your self." Bard said. " How do anda know? I have adventure flowing through my veins!" Flare yelled. "Hey Bard! I found her mom staring at one of the crystals!" Yelled Scar from halfway across the room. " Adventure in your veins, huh? Leave her there as long as she had eye contact on that crystal, she's ok." Bard yelled. "You still haven't answered my question. What's wrong with Thorn? Why does he look so weak and hungry?!" Flare growled. "Hey, it's not our fault he doesn't eat the food we give him." Bard said. Flare looked behind her and saw some food, just about to rot, like it's been a couple of days, the same amount of time Thorn as been kidnapped. They're right, Thorn isn't eating. But why? I can tell he is obviously starving. Flare looked at him and he looked like he was watching t.v. Flare then realized what the crystals were doing. " Bard, anda have to get everyone to stop looking at those crystals!" Flare yelled panicking. Bard looked at her and sneered. "and why should I listen to you, pipsqueak?" "Because, everyone's going to get their souls taken away if anda don't! That's why Thorn isn't eating, because he can't. He thinks he's in a dream!
