'Sherlock...' The man grabbed her oleh her hair to shut her up.
'Don't anda touch her.' The man turned to face him.
'Or what?. How are anda gonna stop me? I'm the one with the gun.' He pointed it at Joan's head. 'One wrong move.'
'You won't use it, on her anyway.'
'How do anda know?.'
'The way your holding it. I noticed over the years that when criminals hold guns, they hold it a certain way when they really mean their going to api it. The way your holding says anda have no intention of killing her.' The man looked at Joan then threw her to the floor. 'Now, why did anda take her?.'
'It was the only way to meet you.'
'You could have just knocked at my front door.'
'Well it was the only way to get your full attention.' Sherlock went to go over to Joan but the man pointed the gun at him.
'She needs medical attention.'
'She looks ok to me.'
'I didn't know criminals could get an M.D(!).' He pushed past him and knelt down selanjutnya to Joan. 'Hey.' She looked up and smiled at him weakly. 'I'm so sorry.' He helped her to her feet. 'She needs a doctor.'
'Like i said, She looks fine.'
'Please, anda wanted me. If I stay will anda let her leave?.'

Gregson waited anxiously outside. He had no idea what was going on in there, all he knew was that Sherlock could have just put his and Joan's lifes at risk. He reached for his radio.
'Bell whats your position?.'
'We're round the right hand side of building, the sniper's got a good shot of the window. What's your orders?.'
'We hold until something happens atau someone comes out.'
'What if no one comes out?.'
'Then we expect the worse.'

'How do i know you'll come back?.'
'Do anda honestly think i would risk her life?.' The man nodded, Sherlock helped Joan to her feet and led her to the door.
'See anda in a minuet.' The man opened the door and watched them to make sure he wasn't up to anything. When they reached the stairs, Sherlock carried her bridal style down them, She was too weak to handle them on her own.
Once they reached outside, he layed her down gently onto the ground.
'Holmes!.' Gregson ran over to them. 'What happened?.'
'Nothing much. He made some threats but i could tell he wasn't about to go threw with them.'
'All right, let's get anda two over to the hospital.'
'I'm afraid i can't captain. I have to go back. He only let Joan go because i agreed to go back inside.'
'You did what?.'
'I'll explain later.' Sherlock went back inside.
'Holmes!.' He made his way back up the stairs and went into the room.
'Told anda i'd come back.'
'I never doubted you.'
'Who are you?.'
'Irene never mentioned me?.'
'Not really. Actually not ever.' The man extended his hand.
'Moriarty.' Sherlock took his hand.
'Sherlock Holmes but anda knew that already.'

Gregson accompanied Joan to the hospital. He had no idea what Holmes was up to but he had to trust him. He knew what he was doing. Once they reached the hospital, they took Joan into a room and asked Gregson to wait outside. He looked through the window and prayed she be ok, for Sherlock's sake. A nurse came out after a couple of minuets.
'Hey, is she going to be ok?.'
'She'll be just fine. She's a little dehydrated so we've put her on a drip to help her get some fluids.'
'Thank you.'
'Are anda her partner?.'
'No, i'm just a friend, her partner is... working at the moment.' Hopefully still living, he thought.
