LadyNottingham I like Severus 1) because he is Severus ; 2) because of Alan's ambiguous, complex, wonderful and faithful portrayal of him. He gave him the right amount of flesh and blood, control and emotion that this character needed to be on-screen. And his voice... ah his voice...
