On a scale of 32 to 212, how ridiculous do you think the Fahrenheit system is for daily use?

^I can go on and on about this topic lel. Learning science has given me a wild, untamed love for the metric system / SI

In metric, one millilitre of water occupies one cubic centimetre, weighs one gram, and requires one calorie of energy to heat up by one degree celsius - which is 1% of the difference between its freezing point and boiling point. An amount of hydrogen weighing the same amount has exactly one mole of atoms in it.

Whereas in Imperial, the answer to "How much energy does it take to boil a room-temperature gallon of water?" is "GO FUCK YOURSELF" because you can't directly relate any of those quantities.
