"See you!" Emma berkata turning the corner on her bike. Eve and Mellissa waved in reply. The rest of the school hari went oleh pretty quickly for them. "Eve, can I see your place? We've seen mine and Emma’s just not yours." Mellissa asked. "No, my room would be, uh, too messy. Maybe some other time," Eve berkata panicking. "Gosh, okay then. I'll see anda tomorrow." Mellissa replied. "There's something Eve's hiding... and I'm going to find out!" Mellissa thought.

Mellissa followed Eve to a small one story house that looked warm and cozy. Mellissa hid behind the side. Eve turned around in Mellissa's direction. "Oh no! I forgot about Eve's hearing!" Mellissa thought. Just then, Eve turned into a bat but before her head was tiny, it shook in a frustrated way. "Seriously, not n--- squeeeeaak!" Eve said. Eve flew to the side of the house Mellissa was on. When Eve saw Mellissa, she stared at Mellissa with her blood red beady eyes. Eve turned back, fell to the ground, and landed with a thud. "Owww!" Eve moaned. "Mel, what are anda doing here? Did anda follow me?!" Eve asked. "Well, uh, er, maybe... why didn't anda want me to come over? This place looks cool!" Mellissa asked back. "I didn't want anda guys to see it because it's kind of old and... shabby." Eve answered. "And I'd be embarrassed oleh my family --- mainly my little brother. But he can be good sometimes... I guess..." Eve finished. "Well it's awesome and--- “Mellissa was cut off oleh the sound of a screen door. "It's my brother. We're good. He's two. His birthday is selanjutnya week, though. “Eve whispered peering behind the pile of wood.”Evie? I heard anda come home, Evie." Eve's little brother said. Eve showed herself and motioned for Mellissa to, too. "Hey, Luke. This is my friend Mellissa. Say hi!" Eve berkata to her little brother. "Hawlo" Luke berkata shyly.

"I cinta your room!" Mellissa complimented. "Thanks." Eve replied. Eve then berkata "Oh, and meet..." a anjing pemburu, beagle scuttled across the floor and into Eve's bedroom with Mellissa and Eve.” Jada!" Eve proudly exclaimed. "Oh my gosh she is SO cute!" Mellissa berkata holding out her hand for the dog to sniff her. The dog didn't need to sniff the werewolf in the room. "Right. I always had 'a way' with dogs!" Mellissa laughed.

After Mellissa and Eve were talking for a while, they were startled oleh Luke who walked into the room and berkata Eve's name. Eve whipped her head around and breathed a sigh of relief. "Luke! anda startled us! What's up?" Eve said. "Mom say it time for dinner, Eve." Luke said. "Dinner already?!" Eve exclaimed. Luke nodded. "Want to stay for dinner?" Eve asked, chanting. "Sure! Let me call my mom and tell her. Maybe I can stay overnight?" Mellissa said. "Course! Let me just tell my mom." Eve replied walking out of the room with Luke.

"Mom, can a friend stay over? She's Mellissa, the one I was telling anda about." Eve asked. "Well... I guess. As long as her parents are fine with it." Eve's mom answered. "She's on the phone with them now." Eve replied. Mellissa ran up to Eve and nodded excitedly. Eve then passed the excitement to her mom oleh smiling ear to ear and giving thumbs up.

"Oh my gosh, your mom Sheila cooks the best food ever!" Mellissa exclaimed. "Yeah, she's awesome. She used to take classes, but then she couldn't afford them." Eve replied. "Oh." Mellissa said. Eve climbed into one side of her tempat tidur and Mellissa crawled into the other side. Once they were settled Eve threw back the covers and ran to the window. "Um, what are anda doing?" Mellissa asked. "I cinta to look at the night sky on full moons." Eve answered. Mellissa's eyes widened. "FULL MOON?!" Mellissa repeated. "Yeah and..." Eve's voice trailed off. "Whoops... forgot..." Eve apologized. "Eve, close the window... hurry!" Mellissa exclaimed. Mellissa ran over to Eve and accidentally looked out the window. Mellissa stared at the glowing moon. Her eye twitched. "Mel? Mel!" Eve whispered. Eve quickly jumped in front of Mellissa and closed the blinds and Mellissa snapped back into reality. "Huh?" Mellissa berkata spacily.
