I'm in a situation...

anda want to be a Christian goth, yet you're insulted oleh your parents for being a goth.
The fuck?
If anda WANT to be a goth, anda shouldn't be INSULTED atau ASHAMED for being called a goth. It's what anda want right? Don't be ashamed when your parents call anda goth. Say "Thank you! You've noticed~." atau something like that. Become what anda want, and see if anda really do want to be a Christian goth because it's a lifestyle that appeals to you, not because anda want to be one.

Well cari for some christian goth artists to use them as examples... Are anda a protestant? If anda are, doesn't your church have pastors anda can get an appointment with and with whom anda can talk so that anda can find some solution?

All I can say is, be you. If that anda is Goth, then I don't see the problem. If you're Christian that's great that anda believe in God. People are just judgemental and stupid and always will be wherever anda go so all anda can do is try to ignore them.

Nobody can't order anda how to look like-neither your parents.Christian goths are cool & if anda want to be one of them anda have to be strong enough to stand up to your parents and everyone else..Just don't give a f*ck about what anyone says.

I think anda should talk to the calmly, like an adult. Explain why anda think this way and tampil them examples of other Christian Goths. Try to be really good in the days before anda do this, though. Try cleaning and doing chores without being asked to, and be really nice (not that anda aren't already).

Argue with them. Tell them how going goth isn't going to change your cinta for God and Jesus, and that it is just a lifestyle that a lot of good people do just because it made them feel unique.

Then, after the talk, do the walk. Whether atau not they approved of your style, go goth and tampil them that anda haven't and will never let antything as trivial as a gothic style ruin your relatioship with God. Go to church in goth, pray morning, noon, and night in goth, read the Bible in goth, and eat and sleep in goth. That'll tampil 'em! ;-)

yeah my parents are overprotective too, i have no fb..well anyway i think anda should be true to yourself and tell your parents no matter how crazy they think anda are. anda have to let them know that, that is who i am and what i love. They have to understand that and be supportive to you, rather than making fun of you. Be true to yourself no matter what ANYONE thinks. Hope this helps!

I think that's really great. I want to be the same thing, so I understand what anda mean. Also, if your parents are "ashamed" of you, they obviously do not support you. They should be able to support anda in anything. (except for like being a rapist atau something...). So just tell the truth to your parents, and remember, God will be with you.
