There's a lot. School doesn't teach anda anything of any value. It just gets in the way, sucks up time that could be better spent on other things. History? Come on. No one gives a shit.

So this is my shortened daftar of what I think kids need to be taught. Most kids don't learn about this stuff. I know it's general, and I've lumped together many different categories, but I didn't wanna take up too much space. :3

-Morals and ethics. Essential to learn, and not taught in school. Kids need to be exposed to this stuff from an early age so they can develop their own codes and know what's right.

-Acceptance. Tolerance. The idea of equality. Kids these days... God, they don't know shit about this stuff. And society just promotes discrimination and inequality. Kids who are exposed to social and political justice from a young age will, I think, be lebih open-minded as adults. And I think we can agree that open minds aren't exactly common. So kids need to learn that people are people with no "buts." We are all human.

-Philosophy. I think everyone should devote at least some time to at least the biggest philosophers - like Plato and Aristotle. Studying philosophy creates major changes in people around my age. I've seen it firsthand, the effect it can have. It opens teenagers who may be lebih close-minded to thought. It causes kids to think for themselves, oftentimes for the first time.

-Practical skills. anda know, what to do if someone twice your age tries to rape you. And things like how to fix a car tire and all that. Things anda need to physically live on a day-to-day basis.

-That life isn't fair. That anda don't always get what anda want. Many parents these days just buy their kids toys to get them to stop crying. I disagree strongly with that. Kids need to know that sometimes anda need to compromise, that they won't make it into every college they apply to, that anda can't get a new cell phone every two months, that the world doesn't revolve around them.
