Thursday (The hari before the "Zoo Dance")

Marlene woke up that morning fatigued. Antonio was waiting for her at the entrance of the cave. His back was against the dinding with his arms crossed across his chest. Gazing outside, he had a solemn expression on his face. Marlene approached silently, but she was contemplating what was on her roomate's mind.

"Good Morning. Are anda okay?" Marlene yawned.

"I don't like anda talking to that twerp of a penguin." Antonio snarled.

"Listen, I know you're mad, but he's not a twerp! Stop, calling him all these names. He just wants the best for me, just like you." Marlene protested.

"I can say whatever I want!" Antonio yelled, and pushed Marlene to the ground. He began to stomp off. Marlene got to her feet.

"Hey! Where are anda going?!" Marlene frusrtatedily asked, and rushing after him. He turned to her.

"Somewhere!" He shouted and slapped so she fell over in front of the pond, and began to weep.

That same morning at the same time Skipper decided to go for a walk.

"Are anda sure anda don't want us to come with you? I can help." Private asked.

"Pleeaasse," Rico begged.

"If anda change your mind, we'll be here." Kowalski explained.

"Thanks, men," he sincerely berkata and left.

When he got outside the H.Q., he was greeted oleh Antonio's hostile glare. Soon Antonio charged to the island.

"Listen, Antonio I think we got off on the wrong foot. I'm Skipper and anda are ... Antonio, right. We both want Marlene to be happy, and I realize I handled the situation wrong yesterday."

"Look, I don't want to be friends nor even associated with you. The only thing anda can do to make Marlene happy now is go away. It's time for anda to learn she doesn't care about you. She's told me how she doesn't like you, so are anda going to back off atau do I have to beat anda til anda turn to a pulp." Antonio threatened.

"If it makes her happy I'll stay away. Can anda tell her, I'm sorry."

"Sure! Good idea! It took anda how many years to figure this out?" He chuckled.

"I can't believe Marlene would go for a self-centered snob like you, but maybe I was wrong about her. If she does go for guys like you, I guess, it's best we're not together. I don't want to like some one like that."

"Why don't anda go and saulk now?"

Skipper headed off. After a while he saw Antonio storm past him. He raced to Marlene's habitat worrying that Antonio had hurt her. He found her crying while laying in the grass.

"Marlene! Are anda okay?! Did he hurt you?!"

"No, I'm fine." Marlene berkata agonizingily. Skipper looked at her face. Where Antonio had slapped her was a red mark.

"He did. Didn't he?" Skipper gasped. Marlene began to shed her tears again.

"Don't cry, Marlene. Please, you're too pretty to cry. Wow, your eyes are dazzling." Skipper sighed. She hugged him, which took his breath away.

"You really think so?" Marlene asked. Skipper showed her to the pond.

"How could I not? When I look at your face I don't just see a neighbor atau friend. I see Marlene, the girl I adore." Skipper said. Marlene smiled joyfully, and kissed him.

"Now that's what I've been waiting for!" Marlene berkata and contuined ciuman him. Antonio crept up behind Skipper and swung his gutiar at his head. Skipper fell to the ground, but got up rapidly.

"What do anda think you're doing?!" Antonio screamed at Marlene and shoved her to the ground. Skipper tackled Antonio and they fought. Fiercily, they battled on the floor. Antonio grabbed and pulled Skipper up oleh his neck against the wall.

"Stop!" Marlene begged hysterically

"I'm sorry, Marlene." Skipper gasped.

"Shut up!" Antonio punched Skipper in the face. He dropped him on the floor. Skipper was on the floor motionlessly.
