It's the preview, revised and changed, 'cause now we have elements about Lisa....and a little hint to the selanjutnya chap which I hope I'll be able to post tomorrow. I swear I'm doing my best. Just enjoy this mood engineering, jantung wrenching chunk anda had already savoured :P And forgive me for making anda waiting too long. I have already got some unofficial complaints XD

No summary requiered I assume? ;) BTW titles are getting quite odd I know....ok, I won't start over the "odd" word now :P

He had knocked twice already and he still was getting no answer. There was no reason to, but suddenly his jantung began to hammer even harder. Couldn’t be she had left already, right?
No. Of course not. She just couldn’t have. He was being ridiculous. They have a scene to shoot and Jess had said…
He knocked again, even harder using his whole fist this time, as blood pounded in his ears putting off his mind. He bent his head down and leaned meneruskan, ke depan on one hand against the doorjamb, breathing in. Deeply.
She just must be there....
Finally, a muffled scratching sound came from inside, as if something heavy was being dragged along on the floor. He straightened up, climbing one lebih step, even if his thoughts were now just whirling through his head cramming confusedly. There were one thousands different things that pushed to get out of his chest; so many he wished he would be able to tell her straight out and yet he feared he would manage none of the two.
Keys clattered….
“I’m here, I’m here!! Sorry Jess, there’s still a little bit of a huge mess arou…”
Lisa broke off abruptly the moment she saw him standing in front of her.
And the very way she remained clutched to the door, not letting him in, choked any possible start he might have come up with into his own mouth.
He forced himself to get his breath though, trying to clear up his mind. He stared down at And Lisa felt her legs wobbling.
“You’re leaving….” he managed drily.
There was no anger in his eyes. Nothing like what she had believed she would find in them, but pure astonishment. A sense of astonishment and pain; perhaps even betrayal.
Something made her waver for a second.
“You knew that already…” she told him, coldly.
He climbed up another step and put a hand against the door, getting ready to push his way in. No way he would give up so quickly.
Lisa backed off a little, clutching tighter onto the doorframe, but she wasn’t sure she would be able to shut it closed on him. She wasn’t sure she had any strength left for anything.
Especially for the way Hugh was tampilkan no intention to ripping his eyes away from her.
It made her breathless
“I MEAN….” he began “you rescheduled your leaving…..tomorrow…..right after tonight….the shooting…”
It just felt like he couldn’t put one word after the other without his breath failing him. He was doing his best, but it wasn’t working.
He climbed up another step and Lisa tensed, “So?” she forced herself to ask, defiantly.
Hugh’s stare got puckered as a rush of heat flushed through his veins, “You could have told me, for instance…” he said, bitterly.
Lisa had the feeling of something tearing up whitin her , “Why?”
Her voice mildly cracked. It was getting impossible to her pretending she didn’t care. “What might have changed? A couple of days more, a couple of days less….”
Hugh parted lips slightly and heaved a sigh, watching her like he hadn’t done in ages. Perhaps like he had simply never done before and whether what he felt was bewilderment, resentfulness, annoyance, angriness atau just plain, simple pain he didn’t know at the moment.
He just knew it hurt.
And so the words came put bitterer than he meant them to, “Were anda planning to leave without even saying goodbye then?”
Lisa hold his gaze but she simply couldn’t answer this time.
She pursed her lips in the end and just averted her gaze, “What do anda want Hugh?”
It felt like being repeatedly backstabbed, without even been granted the graciousness to know why is that happening to you. But he swallowed and mustered up once again, ‘cause even if he didn’t know what for, he was just letting himself been driven meneruskan, ke depan this time, from whatever had gotten into him. And he would not stop until he got his answers.
“May I come in, at least?!”
Lisa stared at him, at the silent plea in he eyes and she just felt even angrier at herself for it. She knew it. She knew that despite of the anger, she wouldn’t be able to ignore that.
She hated him…
Hugh licked his lips, pressing on “So?”
Even this one hadn’t come out properly. Words kept ripping away of his mouth too taunting and demanding.
He just seemed unable to get a grip.
And still Lisa’s face kept tampilkan nothing but coldness. He held his breath.
If she truly ended up slamming the door shut right on his face, he wasn’t sure he would really have the courage to kick it open and force his way in.
After a moment, though the door swung open. He looked up at her but she rolled her eyes, getting herself just out of the way, mimicking a wide welcoming gesture with her hand “Come on in….”
It caused him a new sharp pang aching not just in chest this time but definitely all over his body. It sounded like she didn’t even care whether he stayed atau left anymore as long as he didn’t annoy her any longer.
Lisa hurried to snap the door shut behind him. She ought to get away from him, “I gotta finish packing some stuff if anda don’t mind” She just couldn’t stay alone in the same room with him. She felt it. She wasn’t strong enough. “Jess will be here any menit to help me…” she added to fill the silence. atau maybe she just wanted to assure herself someone would be there soon to rescue her.
Hugh remained alone, enshrouded oleh dusk. She hadn’t so much even as look at him as backing to her bedroom and now he was hearing her starting to sift through her wardrobe already, hangers clanging...as if he wasn’t even there.
“I don’t have much time…” she cried.
He thought they would have more, indeed.
These last few days had passed oleh so quickly. As if a whirl had whipped him up from the ground just to fling him violently elsewhere…
He let his stare wander around the place. Some boxes and a few were still scattered around. One of her bags lay unzipped on the floor, just before his feet and some of her clothes had already been stuffed in it.
Jess was right.
She was leaving.
For real….
In less than 12 hours, she was leaving....
A strange sense of melancholy felt like falling upon him now, as if he had just truly realized it while the air filling up his lungs suddenly began to press hard against his chest, making it painful the very act of breathing.
This was it, then?
This was how it was meant to end? Just like this...
His breath started to get shorter.
No lebih friendship atau anything, no jawaban to his questions, no lebih nothing...
Cause this was what they were supposed to become…
Nothing
Nothing lebih than a crappy loose end. A painful collateral damage…
“Why?” he said.
Lisa berkata nothing of course. His had been barely a whisper. But he could still here her packing, quietly and so it was like something just erupted within him all over again for him to find out he couldn’t restrain himself any longer: all the feelings he had been fighting back for months were now simply pushing to burst out. And he would let them.
He pitched his voice higher, “Why LISA?!”
The tone of his voice froze her in place this time. She closed her eyes, and her jantung suddenly thud faster in her chest and even if she took a silent deep breath, the rhythm was maddening now. It was a hammer not a thud, and it wasn’t letting her breathe. He sounded angry, angrier than she had ever heard him.
And suddenly, before she knew it, he was standing oleh the threshold.
His eyes flashed down at her once again.“Why?” he repeated.
She couldn’t hold that stare. She just couldn’t. Not again.
She sat down onto the bed, burying her face into her hands, hiding it “Why what Hugh?” she asked harshly.
Hugh’s arms spread to clench the doorjamb on both sides, “I want to know what happened”
He was feeling out of himself now. He talked hurriedly and he knew he’d better get a grip before things got out of his hands. But he just couldn't.
Lisa rubbed her face. She knew this would happen. She knew it.
Why had David done this to her?
He tired to gentle his tone, but it was useless “What happened Lisa?”
She sighed inside her hands, “To what…what happened to what….”
Hugh could hear blood thudding in his veins all over his body as he berkata the words “To us. I want to know what happened to us…”
Slowly, Lisa forced herself to pindah her face up. Hugh stared right into her eyes and it hurt, it hurt her even before she spat the words out “There’s no us…”



Lisa lowered her stare ever so slightly, watching him puckered from over her eye-lashes then.
And he could just breathe in, deeply.
For even like this, just oleh staring at her, as much as rocked and shattered and confused and frustrated he felt, he found himself ravished oleh how impossibly gorgeous she looked.
And he just wished he could find a way to clutch her to him and...
So now, he didn’t know whether the words had really been spat out of her mouth with the very same cold harshness they had hit his ears; now, he wasn’t asking himself how much he still could stand atau what else he would be able to bare hearing from her atau how further out of his depth he could still atau would end up going tonight. He just wasn’t doing any of those things.
‘Cause none of them truly matteredat the moment.
For the very first time ever, in fact….he just knew it couldn’t be true.
Deep down inside him, he just knew it.
He had felt it.
He had seen it. He had just seen it with his very eyes. In her eyes…
It couldn’t be true….
Even if those very eyes were now so frosty looking at him: stone-cold like two flawless onyx pebbles craved right into darkness, with no glow whatsoever inside them left for him. Not now.
He gathered up, knowing his words would taste of desperation probably.
But he just didn’t care. He was into it oleh now. Too much. He couldn’t go backwards. And he would go whole hog with it.
“I don’t believe you” he told her determinedly.
And so Lisa could only stare.
