Chapter 8

"Good morning Sunshine! Here I am with my perfect ass"


House opened her office door and barged in screaming. Cuddy smircked and stood up waiting for him to come closer. He made a few steps and leaned down to ciuman her lips.

"Good morning House. You're late. Again!"

"I know"


He cupped her cheeck tenderly and kissed her another time. She smiled but immediately became serious.

"Kissing me won't help anda with the clinic hours I'm giving you."


"But..."


"No buts... Today anda will be in the clinic all day."


"I though that sleeping with the boss would..."


"House! Clinic! Now!"


"You are the real she-devil of this place"


"Yeah and I'm proud of it"


House smiled and walked to the door.

"Poor Taub, he's not used to spend the whole hari in the clinic"


"House. You're the one who will spend the whole hari in te clinic and if I see one of your fellows down here I'll give anda a whole week of clinic"


"Yes boss"

Cuddy stepped closer to him and smiled lightly. She caressed his chest and kissed his cheeck.

" Maybe I will..."


"you will try to have some free time to spend with me in the clinic..."


"I won't have sex with anda in this hospital."


"I remember anda being half naked in this office few days ago..."


"That was a terrible mistake and Wilson came in right after"


"But anda liked it..."


"No..."


"No?"

"Well, yes, but..."


"Like anda berkata before, no buts..."

House mencuri another ciuman at her and smiled while opening the door.

"I'll meet anda in exam room 2 and..."


"No..."


"At least, can we have lunch together?"


Cuddy smiled.

"Okay then..."


"Bye Sunshine..."


"Bye Greg..."


"Greg! Did anda just call me Greg!"


"You're Greg when you're not behaving like an pantat, keledai otherwise you're House"


"But last night I was...wait...how did anda call me?...God!"

"House! Clinic!"


"and now we're back to House!"

"Yes. Go now!"


"Bye Sunshine"


"Bye..."

Lunch time. Cafeteria

Cuddy walked in the cafeteria holding her wallet. She took and looked for House. He wasn't there. Maybe he's waiting for me in exam room 2, she thought. Cuddy smiled.


In that very moment House stepped in holding his cane with a hand and a paper bag with the other. He sat right selanjutnya to Cuddy, who meanwhile had decided to sat at the meja in the corner.

"Hi"

"Hi...what do anda have in that bag?"


He opened the bag and started to take off everything that was in it. Cuddy stared at him curious.

"Our lunch"


"What!"


"Yes, I ordered chinese at the restaurant right behind the corner of the street"


"Wow! That's...fantastic. Wait, did anda break the MRI machine again!"


"No! I've been a really good boy! I didn't break anything, unless anda want to count the broken hearted girl that I visited in the clinic this morning... I broke her sweet and fragile heart"


"Oh poor girl"

"She was crying the hell out of herself..."


"I can imagine..."


"Anyway...Can't a boyfriend buy lunch for her girlfriend?"


"Yes, of course he can. But it's kinda weird, anda know..."


"I know, I think it's kinda weird for me too"


They ate silently smiling at the commets people were sharing from the other tables.

"Aren't anda tired of this?"


"Tired of what?"


"Being a sort of dirty little secret...?"


"I know that song...I'll keep anda my dirty little secret..."


House sang that line out loud causing everyone to turn and stare at them. Cuddy blushed and slap his arm.

"Why are anda blushing? I thought anda were tired of keeping it a secret"

"Yes I am...But can anda please stop singing!"


"Nope...I'll keep anda my dirty little secreeeeeeet!"


People laughed at his behaviour and turned their attention to their meals. Cuddy rolled her eyes.

"Don't anda roll your eyes at me"


"You're impossible, anda know?"


House nodded serious and kept eating his lunch.

"I thought that anda bringing here lunch for us..."

"You thought that I wanted our...relationship...not to be a secret any more..."


"Yes..."


"You're right. But I think we should wait a while longer."


"Okay...May I know why?"

"I may screw up everything..."


"You won't screw up. Not this time..."


"You seem sure of this..."


"I am..."


When they finished their lunch, they stood up and walked out of the cafeteria. People kept staring at them both confused and surprised. Cuddy smiled at everyone while House instead stared at his shoes.

"Now everyone knows we're together..."


"No..."


"Yes..."


"No..."


"Cuddy, they're smiling"


"Stop it!"

They strepped in the elevator alone. Cuddy got closer and kissed him.

"I missed anda this morning"

"Me too...I was thinking about going out tonight"


"Okay, but I need to tell Marina..."


"Already done this morning"


"Really? Thanks. Where are we going?"


"A new club down town. There's a friend of mine anda bought it and he invited me..."


"Nice...Anyway, why are we going to your office? Don't anda have your clinic duties?"


"Chase found a new case early..."


"Oh...okay."


"Don't worry. I'll be at your place at 8..."


"I'll be ready for you..."


House opened the door and walked in while Cuddy smiled and kept walking along the hallway.

In the club.


It was 9 o'clock when they finally made their way into the club. Cuddy was wearing a pair of blue jeans, a black V-cut puncak, atas and a pair of black stilettos. She looks amazing, he thought when he saw her.

Cuddy shivered when he held her hand in his. She smiled and followed him to the meja he had reserved for them. A tall man walked to them with a friendly smile.

"Hey Greg, how are anda son of a...Oh you're not alone. I'm Paul, nice to meet you...ehm..."


"She's Lisa, my girlfriend..."


"Nice to meet anda Paul. This place is really nice, anda did a great job..."


"Thanks Lisa...What do anda want to drink? Tonight anda two are my guests"


"Thank you"


"For me a Cola..."


"No beer?"


"I' don't drink alcohol, no more"


"Great, I stopped drinking too"


"Great job buddy"


"Yeah! So, it's a Cola for you. And for you, Lisa?"


"Another Cola, thanks"

"I'll be right back. Feel free to order everything anda want."


Paul walked away leaving Cuddy staring at House.

"What!"


"Great job buddy! What's this?"


"I was trying to be...ehm..."


"Nice?"


"Absolutely not!"


"Yes, anda were being nice! Admit it!"


"No..."

"Stop denying it!"


"Yeah..."


Cuddy smiled and kissed him deeply. House held her oleh her waist and pulled her closer. She laid her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes.

"This never crossed my mind"


"What's this?"


"You and me. In a club. My head resting on your shoulder and your arm around my waist. Is this real?"


"Yes it is"

Outside the club.

Thirteen and Chase were waiting for Foreman and Taub.

"Where the hell are they?"


"Chase, stop it! You're making me nervous and I just want to enjoy this night out with my work mates"


"You're right. I think we should walk in and wait for them inside."


Thirteen followed Chase inside and they sat at a meja in the corner near the door. She smiled at the other doctor, who smiled back.

"So, have anda heard any from Cameron?"


"Do we really need to talk about my ex-wife?"


"If anda want..."


"No..."


"Oh, I'm sorry and you're right. It's not the best topic to start with."


"No, I mean...I haven't hear any from her in a while."


"And are anda planning on going out with someone atau do anda wanna be single for the rest of your life?"


"I don't know...Maybe it's too soon..."


"I think anda should try not to be so nervous and relax. Just have fun like I do"


Foreman and Taub walked in in that very moment. One of the waitress took their orders and brought them the drinks after a while.

"Oh my...Oh my god! Is that...Oh my god...Is that House!"


Thirteen stared at that man behind the three man's backs. They turned around and saw a man very similar to House.

"Oh god! Remy you're right. That's House..."


"And he's not alone..."


"Nope...There's a brunette with him..."


"A beautiful brunette with a great pantat, keledai oleh the way"


"Yes"


Thirteen stared at House and the woman's backs for a while before finally understand who was the woman.

"Oh my gos, guys...you won't believe it!"


"What!"


"That brunette is our boss."


"Lisa Cuddy!"


The four of them turned back to face the man who screamed their boss' name. A tall man walked closer to Cuddy smiling.

"John! Oh my god! We haven't seen each other since college!"


"Oh my god! House!"


"John..."


"And anda two are still together after all these years?"


"No...it's been a week atau so"


"Oh my god. Can I offer anda guys a drink?"


"Of course..."


The ducklings stared at the strange trio.

"Oh my god. That's the best night since Cameron left me..."


"Definetely..."


"They were together back in college?"


"Now I understand lots of things..."


"Yeah, me too"


"Same here..."


"Mmmh..."


"What are we gonna do now? Should we tell them we know everything?"


"No! We can have fun tomorrow don't anda think."


They smiled and drank their drinks.
