this chapter finds the moms coming to makan malam on the eve of House's trip to Mexico. As anda know House has proposed to Cuddy and gave her his grandmother's wedding ring. As Cuddy was frantically trying to get makan malam ready, she was nervous about Arlene and Blythe coming for makan malam and also a little sad that House would be leaving the selanjutnya morning for Mexico.
House, "don’t let Rachel and Joseph get dirty."

As the doorbell rang, House answered it. On the other side of the door stood his mother and Arlene, as expected. "It's nice to see anda mom", as she walks through the door, he takes her coat. During makan malam House’s mom asked him when he was leaving for Mexico?

"Presbyterian is a great religion to raise a child with.”
"So you're Presbyterian?" Arlene asks. That is not really a religion."
"Yes it most certainly is and we are very proud of our religion."
"How can anda be proud of such a useless religion?"
"Useless?! You're the ones that can't eat pig!!" Blythe shouts.

"Okay ladies," House interjects, "How about we just stop there and enjoy our meal."

"After driving it through Lisa's house, it must be in pretty rough shape."

A short time later, makan malam was finished, and Arlene and Blythe retired to the living room with the kids as House and Cuddy begin clearing the dishes.
The grandmas were playing with the children while getting them ready for bed.
As they were washing dishes House noticed something missing. “Where is the ring”, he asked Cuddy?
I didn’t know if anda were ready to tell them atau if anda wanted to tell your mom privately.
He took the dish from her hand as he faced her and he looked into her eyes. I want anda to be my wife.

They returned to the living room where both mothers were ready to leave. House helped his mom on with her mantel and thanked her for coming.
Cuddy was hugging her mom goodbye as she took Joseph from her arms. I cinta anda mom.

“I know mom.”
House I guess I will be seeing anda in the future. “Don’t screw it up this time.”
“Thanks for the encouragement mom.”
She looked back at him with squinted eyes but she knew something had changed in him. Their eyes never left each other as they stood at the door.

“I know that.”
She put her arms around him just a bit, as he tensed just slightly. Don’t blow it because she loves you.
He nodded as he she stepped away and walked out the door.
He went into the living room where Cuddy was holding Joseph and Rachel was curled up into her. Rachel had fallen asleep and as House leaned down he picked her up and carried her to bed. When he returned he informed Cuddy that she had a warm bath and that he would take Joseph and put him to sleep.
When she returned into the room after taking a bath he was holding Joseph and he had actually went to sleep with him in his arms. The picture of it took her breath away. She could hardly believe she was looking at the same man she had wanted since the first time she had saw him and he was now holding “their” baby. He was the man she wanted. She could finally just be honest with herself and acknowledge he was the only man she would ever be able to love. She gently removed Joseph from his arms but he awoke immediately.
“I am going to put him to bed.” Go lay down and I will be in a few minutes.
“Are anda sure anda want me to stay Cuddy?
Yes, “I don’t ever want anda to leave.”
She took Joseph in and laid him down and returned to the bedroom to find that House sitting on the edge of the bed.
She sat down beside him and he noticed she had put the ring back on.
He took her hand and he held it for moment and then brought it to his lips and as he kissed her hand gently. He then ran his hands through her hair as he looked deeply into her eyes.
He tried to speak but the moment was too overwhelming to find any words that would convey how he felt. As she looked into his eyes she knew what was in his heart.
It’s our time House. After all that we have been through it is finally our time. You’ll always be the hari I fell in love.
He made cinta to her. It was gentle and soft and they were totally consumed oleh each other.
For a change he fell asleep first. She was lying in his arms as she felt him relax she held tight to him for just a moment. “I cinta anda House.”
The selanjutnya morning found them rushing. They were running a little behind and still needed to go and get House’s carry-on for the plane. He had already arranged for his luggage and all the meds to be loaded onto the charter plane he was taking.
As they were leaving House bent down to tell Rachel he would return in a few days.

The sights of those moments were still so new that it took Cuddy off guard just a little. She had imagined so many times but really never believed it to be possible.

House looked back at marina as she nodded and assured him she would help Senora Cuddy while he was away.
He nodded and winked at her as Cuddy was pulling him out of the door.
As they arrived at the airport Cuddy was trying to prepare herself to say good-bye. He took the hand that was wearing the promise they had made to each other.
