Why don't they tell their parents? atau at least Cleo's Dad so they have an adult looking out for them?

Plus, wouldn't be easier for them so the Dad knows why they can't go to school when it rains atau to have a sleep over during a full moon. Also, the Cleo doing the dishes would be so much easier!
