Win fantastic prizes!
Before diving into the details of the game, I want to send out a hearty THANKS to the fanpop team. In particular, a big prop to link who put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into this feature.
I'd also like to thank all the great beta testers who helped us test and refine the feature for the past month. Finally, a thank anda to link - the site that provided the nifty default icon sets for the spot pop kuiz and superquiz.
Now onto the nitty-gritty...the specifics about the quiz.
Playing the Quiz
anda can play the kuis in one of two ways.
1) The Super Quiz
link is the ultimate test of fanpopper knowledge. Superquiz pulls pertanyaan from the full spectrum of topics on the site. Each pertanyaan will tell anda what topic and channel it's about. Just start answering pertanyaan to start racking up points and winning virtual prizes. If anda run across a pertanyaan anda don't want to answer, anda can simply click the "skip this question" link to get a new question.
anda can also use the filter in the right column of the superquiz ("show pertanyaan for") to only display pertanyaan from a specific channel (e.g. movies) atau to only display pertanyaan from subjects anda are subscribed to.
A small module on the lower right side of the page will display your superquiz progress (how many points you've scored, how many pertanyaan asked and what your current prize is).
2) Individual Pop Quizzes
If anda want zero in on a specific topic, we also feature pop kuiz for each fan club (spot). So for instance, if anda wanted to play The Office Pop Quiz, just go to The Office fan Club and click the "quizzes" link below the spot banner (there is also a module on the right side of each fan club homepage that will allow anda to start playing).
Spot-specific kuiz have their own leaderboards and prize sets (see the small module in the lower right column of the spot kuis pages).
Making kuis Questions
To make a kuis pertanyaan anda will need to go to the fan Club's kuis and click the "add a question" link atau button.
When creating a pertanyaan anda must:
* Ask a question
* Enter at least 2 possible answers
* Select the correct answer
Optionally anda may:
* Add an image
* Embed a video
* Add gambar for each of the possible answers
* Add some short trivia about the question
anda have some limited editing capabilities once anda publikasi a question, but it's best to make sure that anda have spelled everything correctly and have made the pertanyaan and answer factually correct before posting.
Additionally, here are some other tips for making good questions:
* Play the kuis in the fan club before posting new questions. This way anda can avoid making duplicate questions.
* Avoid subjective pertanyaan (e.g "Who do anda like better?). Subjective pertanyaan should be diposting as picks.
* Avoid pertanyaan that are time-specific atau can be rendered incorrect oleh events in the future. For instance: "What's the highest grossing British film of all-time?". A better pertanyaan is "As of 2007, what's the highest grossing British film of all-time?". For TV shows that are still airing, a pertanyaan like "How many seasons of One pohon Hill"? is also a bad idea (until the tampil has concluded).
* Avoid vague questions: "Who did John ciuman on tonight's episode?" is ambiguous if John kisses someone in every episode. A better pertanyaan would be "Who did John ciuman in the season 3 episode, 'The Hunted'"?
Reporting Quizzes
If anda see an inaccurate, inappropriate atau badly worded kuis question, anda can flag it atau contact the fanpop team.
kuis creators do have limited ability to modify their pertanyaan after they are made, however we have curtailed these options in order to prevent any abuse.
Note that in some instances, the fanpop team will need to hapus pertanyaan in order to be fair to the people participating in the game. If this happens, feel free to repost a corrected version of the question.
Leaderboard & Prizes
As anda gain points oleh playing the quiz, anda will notice that anda gain new "prizes". link
We have also made some "custom" prize sets for certain pop kuiz (should be out shortly) :-)

Today on June 6th, The Meebo bar was not working. Many fan could not log on and all of them thought that it was a glitch atau a fail. But then, according to snakemanfan, google shut down Meebo permanently to work on Google+. It is totally damn stupid. I know that many people use the meebo bar in order for chatting on fanpop and other stuff, But this is just sad. google want to dominate the whole internet. Just because Google+ is being updated just does not mean that anda have to shut down the Meebo bar permanently. So today, We have to say our Final Words to the Meebo bar as it shuts down forever.
This will be a really sad thing for users who have used the Meebo Bar. I really do not know if they will replace it atau bring it back, But for now, Meebo is gone, Forever. :( :( :(
