RoxStar09 Thanks LightningRed! Um, well, in a manner of speaking, the Great Prince entitles himself as Belle's protector since he knew her from her previous life — her former life — when she spent time as a doe. The two fell in and out of love for another, but never took the other's presence for granted. They reconciled, and only after did they reconcile in Belle's frail estate, did the two learn to see past their own faults and enjoy life with one another's company. He shows her around, brings her back to his den, where Belle meets Bambi and feels a sharp sting of nostalgia; she wishes to be with the Great Prince as before, but alas can not. Thus arrives the spirit (or entity rather) who decides that Belle, having learned her contemporary lesson, should be wed with the Great Prince and in turn, does its deed in transforming her back into a doe.
