When David Cook performed "Always be my Baby" during the Mariah Carey week. I immediately knew it was the perfect father / daughter song for my wedding.
Some of the words in the song were a bit lovey dovey, so I asked my dj to arrange the song so it sounded more father / daughter-ish. He did and at my wedding last weekend, it played and my dad and I both cried as we danced. Many folks at our reception knew the song and commented on how original we were to choose it. I would love to let DC know how he contributed amazingly to my wedding and how I'll never forget that song. Thanks. PS- my new hubby is named David!!
