Chapter 4

Juliet quieted. It was apparent that she was too weak to break the grip, and if this person really was friendly, fighting and screaming would only complicate matters. After a menit of her staying limp in the person’s grip, he let her go. She took a deep breath to steady her nerves and twisted around to see who it was. She couldn’t contain herself.
“Steve, anda bastard! What the hell!”
“Quiet! They’ll hear you,” he whispered frantically.
“Wait, so this is…real?”
Steve looked down. “Sorry, but yes, it’s real.”
Juliet clapped her hands to her mouth. “It can’t be real! This kind of thing only happens in horror movies.”
“Shh!” Steve motioned for her to follow him. She obeyed, only because it was a much better alternative than staying there. They ran back down the road.
Juliet huffed from all the running. “Are…you sure…that…it’s safe? What about…Phil?”
Steve responded, his voice the same as ever. “Don’t worry about Phil, I…took care of that problem.” Juliet looked sideways at him. What did he mean, “Took care of?” And what was going on anyway? She needed answers. After a few lebih menit of running, they reached the town. Steve made to continue, but Juliet grabbed his sleeve and yanked it, dragging him over to the benches.
“What are anda doing, Jules? We’re kinda in a hurry…” Steve complained as she sat him down. Of course he was going to go and use her pet name. Only Steve and her father ever called her oleh that.
She glared at him. “I want to know exactly what is going on!”
“Really? This is not a good time for long explanations! They could find us any minute!”
Juliet looked to her right, then to her left, then back at Steve with her eyebrows raised. “We’re alone and we’ll see anyone coming long before they’re here, so start talking if anda want this done quickly.”
Steve held her gaze for a whole menit before he grinned. “You always did have a way of knocking my arguments on their asses. Fine, but we can’t take too long.” Juliet nodded and Steve took a deep breath. “Where to begin? Well…first off, the things that attacked you. They are the actual people from town.”
Juliet gasped. “But…but…how?”
“That brings me to my selanjutnya point. The disappearances. Something, we don’t know what, caused all the people in town, and all memories and things related to them, to disappear. Their items, such as their houses and cars, they all remained, but all signs that anything in the houses and cars had been used, were gone.” Juliet remembered the bar. The drink that belonged to Steve was there, but there was no sign that he had taken a sip. “So…why do we remember? And why are anda not…you know…all black and bubbly?”
Steve looked at her. “We don’t know. We have guesses, but that’s all they are.”
Juliet nodded, then she processed what he said. “We?”
Steve gave a grin. “Yes, we! Me and anda aren’t the only ones that were affected. There are a few others, you’ll meet them when we get to base.”
“Base? anda already have a base?”
“Of course we have a base! This isn’t the first time. It’s been happening for a few weeks, but on a smaller scale. Only one atau two people disappeared at a time, mostly elderly atau sick people who’s immune systems were weaker than most.”
“So it’s a virus?”
Steve shook his head. “Nope, it’s not a virus. We tested for anything and all we found were elevated levels of Oxygen in the victims.”
“Oxygen?”
“Yes, oxygen. It must be something about the air that is doing this.”
Juliet was getting really scared. “So anyone who breathes is in danger? How do we stop it?”
Steve smiled at her. “Don’t anda worry your pretty head over it. We got our science team working on it, we’ll figure it out.”
“You have a whole science team?”
“I was going to take anda there, but anda insisted on an explanation.”
Juliet thought about it. She nodded. “All right, let’s go.” She turned around to see several of the townsfolk heading down the road towards them. “Steve…we got a problem!”
Steve was already up. He grabbed her hand, yanking her farther into town. “Quick, we gotta get to the bar!”
Juliet struggled to keep his pace. “Why…are we….going there?”
Steve didn’t answer and within minutes, they were back at Phil’s bar, the zombie townsfolk closing in fast. Steve and her ran inside.
“Quick! Barricade the door!” He shouted as he ran behind the counter. Juliet nodded and grabbed a few of the tables, stacking them against the door. She then went for the chairs as Steve frantically looked behind the counter. “Where is it?”
“Where is what?”
“The shotgun. My dad’s shotgun that he kept here.”
Juliet frowned and walked over to the corner of the room. In her haste to get away earlier, she had thrown the shotgun away. She retrieved it from the corner and handed it to him. “There’s no ammo.”
Steve nodded and went into the back room. When he came back, the shotgun looked extremely different.
“Um…what is that?”
“It’s a flamethrower. anda see, dad never kept any bullets for the gun so this is all we can do.”
Juliet gasped. “You can’t be serious! You’re actually going to set them on fire?”
Steve gave her a reassuring smile and walked towards the door. “Don’t worry, it’s just to keep them back. Are anda ready?”
Juliet hurried over to him, grabbing his jaket lightly. “ya…I’m ready.”
“Good, let’s go. As soon as we get to base, we will head over to our lab and anda can talk to our technical staff.”
Juliet nodded. “Got it.” Steve began walking and she followed, taking a deep breath to calm herself.

I was lying in my hospital room doctors surrounding me observing him waiting for a change I knew was coming, but yet I still managed to be a depressive bugger who would somehow baffle the doctors to the extent of breaking down crying in frustration," now Craig I need anda stop crying and relax so we can inspect your health with a few tests, okay how does that sound?," I slowly look up and try to stop the tears but the shadowy figures stand there shouting at me making me so angry, that I lash out at the nearest doctor knocking off his glasses and then punching him in the groin making him cry...

Chapter 9: I Play Bad Cop And anda Play Good Cop

Faye Martinez and Jason Rivers sat in Mr. Rivers' office in his house. They had readied everything for the interviews they were having that evening. They planned on interviewing anyone and everyone who saw Simone the hari she vanished. This would take possibly all day. Faye had to literally drag Mr. Rivers from his luxury tempat tidur and to his office. He was sitting in the dark, staring out the window, while on the floor. It was ridiculous. Simone always complained about how her father never truly loved her. It is obvious now how much he truly...

“So we will not speak of atau mention the unspeakable event that took place last night,” Darren told us, looking like a stern teacher reprimanding his class.
“For the hundredth time yes!” Edith shrieked.
The sad part was that she wasn’t exaggerating.
We were all on edge, super tension ran from the air, we had left the park with a dispirited mood. Not because of the stupid stone. Iris was supposed to call us when she got home, but the call never came so we called...

Chapter Nine: Escape Artist Can Escape But A Group Of Students Can't Even Escape From Their School

Everyone was ready for the escape plan the selanjutnya night. If it was up to me we would have had everything ready within an jam but tracking teacher schedules was harder then it looked. We were all set and ready to take off that night. I had learned that the school kept two emergency vans in the back. I nabbed the keys from the office when no one was around. I wonder how long it will take them to notice that a set of keys are missing. It was about midnight when our team assembled. Everyone...

He couldn't possibly wait for me. He has the opportunity to escape and save himself. I took one step meneruskan, ke depan and tumbled down the stairs. It was so dark that I didn't even notice them. Book Six- Zoe

How did the battle end? Well, Shane kicked some serious butt. I wasn't so bad myself. The guards may have been ghost but they were pretty easy to kill. All anda had to do was kill hem like anda would kill a human. It was that simple. It was what made the battle even lebih serious then it already was. My sister. She killed herself. That is what it looked like. The odd thing was that The One was nowhere to be found. I searched everywhere in the kastil, castle but I couldn't find him. I soon gave up. He wasn't important. When I was a little girl my dad suddenly left. I remember being really close to him. Sometimes he would act strange though. Like he never stayed in one place long and was always looking behind him like he thought someone was following him. And one hari he berkata he had to go for a little while, and he never came back. He was the best father I could ask for. He was kind and always did what was best for the family. And that is why it broke my jantung to find out that he wasn’t coming back. At first I didn’t believe it and I didn’t want to. The only thing I wanted was my dad to come...

Now, I don’t hate school, no, not at all. But the thought of going to it for a place of safety, especially with no one but creepy janitors in there, yeah, I’m not liking it.
“How are we going to get in?” Brooklyn asked, eyeing the doors that, in morning look friendly and welcoming, but at night look dangerous and ready to gobble up innocent kids.

There's nothin else better than
Doin homework all night long
I bet anda never liked that when anda were young

Now it's time to kick in and relax
No lebih time for homework, just sit back and do the things I cinta to do
Cuz I gotta enjoy my life when I'm young.

Chapter 6: Two Missing People Makes A Certain Someone Happy

Simone Rivers wore her blue strapless dress which made her look taller. She was already tall but she needed that extra height. She had her long blonde hair curled and wore the black wedges she recently bought. The whole outfits was around a seven hundred dollars but she wouldn't mention that to her cheap dad. She looked dazzling atau at least that is what all the boys thought when they whistled when she walked by. She took pleasure on having their attention. Nothing could stop her now. IF ONLY I COULD HAVE MULTIPLE LIVES atau LIVE FOREVER. -Erica

I was rudely thrown in a miniature room. He didn't say much when he lugged me here. Although, I could sense others nearby but when I looked there were no ghost atau anyone near. I had finally gotten rid of the feeling to only have it come back again. This time I saw who it was. "Erica?" A shimmery figure exposed itself to me. A little surprise but not as surprise as Erica who was now flickering on and off like a light bulb.
