I constantly played with my brother's toys and he constantly played with mine. He's highkey the straightest dude I've ever been around lmao. Let kids play with whatever they want to play with, they aren't even old enough to be thinking about their own sexuality. :v Idk why people are so anal about 'boys' toys vs 'girls' toys. I'm so glad that may parents encouraged me to use my brother's hotwheels and that they encouraged my brother to play with my Barbies.

It's just a patently absurd statement. Gender identity isn't determined by the toys one plays with, it's an internal trait. It may be difficult to define for many, but that doesn't mean that forcing toys that embody "masculinity" or "femininity" are capable of altering it, especially if the child chooses them themselves. If anything, forcing a child to say that one is right and the other is not tells them what gender role they should play in society, and as such pushes them to distance themselves from any internal identity and embrace the one society has taught them is right.

When I was little I played with a stuffed toy dog which I called Spot. I think it prepared me to be a real dog mother.

It's like saying I would get confused with my sexual orientation for playing with cars.

NO LOL

Barbies are just plastic objects that a lot of people classify as "femme" as an attempt to decided what we can/can't interact with or like. Same thing goes for shows like Unikitty or Pocoyo. They look at that and go, "That's just for kids, you can't enjoy that." In reality, putting unnecessary labels on interests holds no real value. It's dumb, we all deserve to enjoy what we want. Especially if we aren't actually hurting anyone.

If you give a boy a doll and they play with it gently, respectfully, and treat it like a child
It shows that they will be a good father in the future
That they will be a compassionate person
That they will grow up to be a good person
