Sora backed away. "Shana.....I can't do tha....." his eyes turned blood red and his fangs came out.

Shana got closer. "Yes, you can. Just...do it okay? I know you want to." She closed her eyes, ready for it.

Jake got closer to her. "N-no...i ca-cant...." he gently grabbed the other side of her neck and leaned closer to the side he bit.
"NO!!!!" Arci yelled pushing him into the wall again.
Sora hit the wall and fell to his knees.
"STOP IT!!! YOU DUMBASS!!!!" Arci yelled.
"Damnit!!" Sora hissed dissapearing.

Shana gasped. "Sora!"
Aki rushed over and hugged Shana. "OMG! I was so worried about you! Did he bite you? Oh I am so telling his parents!"
"No, I'm fine. Really. Don't tell." Shana smiled reassuringly.
Aki frowned. "Are you sure?"
Shana nodded and looked where Sora disappeared.

Arci shook her head. "He's so stupid."
Arein sighed. "We're just glad you're ok Shana."

Sora appeared in his room at his house and got into his bed, under the covers.

Shana smiled shyly and nodded. "Yeah..."
Aki sighed. "Okay then...do you guys still want to get ice cream?"
Daisuke nodded. "That's fine by me."

There was a knock on Sora's door. "Sora? Something wrong?" Jake asked.

"Sure." Arci said.
"Yep!" Arein said.

"I-it's nothing Dad...." Sora said.

Daisuke nodded. "Alright. Let's go!"
Aki took Shana's hand and led her towards the ice cream parlor.

Jake frowned. "Are you sure? Do you need a blood pack?"

Arein and Arci followed behind laughing at some inside joke.

"No!! I'm fine...." Sora said. He stood up and wiped the leftover blood off his face with a towel.
Cc walked over to the closed door. "Sora. Is everything alright honey?"
"Yeah Mom....I'm fine..." Sora said sitting back down on his bed.

They reached the parlor and sat down at a table. A waiter came by and smiled. "Welcome! What can we get you today?"
"Chocolate chip cookie dough please." The twins said at the same time.
"Just vanilla ice cream." Shana said shyly.

Jake smelled the blood and sighed. "Alright...if you need anything, let us know." Jake looked at Cc and shrugged before walking away. He will talk with him later.

"Bubblegum flavor!!! Please!!!" Arci said.
"I'll take, chocolate chip peanut butter please." Arein said.

Cc sighed and walked away.

The waiter nodded and walked away.
Daisuke looked at Arci and Arein. "So...you two dating anyone?"

"Yeah I have a girlfriend." Arein said. (temporary gf is what she is XD.)
"I'm a loaner forever!!!" Arci said sadly.

Daisuke winked at her. "If you ever get tired of being a loner, I am always available."
Aki rolled her eyes. "Jeez! Such a flirt."
Shana giggled slightly.

"How bout you Shana...?" Arci asked.

Shana shook her head. "No, I don't have a boyfriend."

"Aw, no way you're sucha pretty girl. How about you Aki?" Arein said.

Shana smiled shyly. "Thank you..."
Aki shook her head. "Nope! For some reason, guys never want to approach me. It is so strange."
Daisuke looked down.

"That's odd. You're so beautiful." Arein said.

Aki blushed and smiled. "Really? You really think so?"
Daisuke glanced at him and frowned.

"Yeah!" Arein said. Trying to be friendly and social.

Aki giggled. "Thank you so much! That means a lot."
Daisuke rolled his eyes.

Arein smiled at her.
"Oooohhhh bro!!!" Arci said hugging Arein. "Don't tell Kyra."

Daisuke nodded. "That's right. Don't go flirting when you have a girl."
Aki rolled her eyes. "Oh leave him alone! He was just giving me a simple compliment."
Daisuke just rolled his eyes.

"Aww don't be so harsh Daisuke. Arein is only trying to be social. It's a bit odd though, usually he's good at being able to keep to himself." Arci said.

"Well as long as he doesn't touch my sister...." Daisuke muttered as the alter came back with their ice cream.
Aki smiled widely as he dug into her ice cream happily.

Arci shrugged understanding.
Arein started eating his ice-cream calmly.

Daisuke calmly ate his ice cream
Shana slowly ate her ice cream, lost in thought.

Arci couldn't help but look at Shana. Sora had bit her, yet she still called after him.

Shana felt someone stare at her and looked up to look at her. "Is there something wrong?"

Arci nodded. "Yes. Very odd and wrong."

Shana frowned slightly. "What is it?"

Arci looked at her with a blank expression. "Why didn't you run from him. Why'd you follow him. You burned him, yet you didn't run, but why. Why? Why!!!"
Arein quickly grabbed Arci by the arm. "We'll be back, excuse us." He pulled Arci out, who still had a blank expression.

Daisuke watched them go before looking at Shana. "Why didn't you run?"
Shana looked down at her half eaten ice cream but didn't say anything.
Aki looked at her, worried. "Shana?"

Arein walked back in. "Arci wants to be alone for a few. So she'll be back in a few minutes." He sat down at his seat.

Aki nodded. "Oh...okay...."

Arein nodded and messed with his ice cream. Then his phone rang. He answered it quickly. "You idiot!"
"Hello to you too Arein." Sora said on the other side of the line.
"Sora. You gotta watch that lust of yours. Bro you could've hurt her." Arein said.
"I'm thinking of telling my parents." Sora said.
"No! Are you crazy? Dude they'll grill your case. Especially your dad." Arein said.

Aki looked up from her ice cream to look at him. "Are you talking to Sora? His dad is funny. What are you talking about?"

Arein gently and kindly put a hand up to shush her.
Sora combed back his long silver hair from his eyes, after sitting up on his bed "I know. Usually he doesn't get really angry, unlike Mom. But I'm sure this will piss him off enough."
"Yeah. Bro don't...." Arein said.
"But....." Sora started.
"C'mon man." Arein said.
"Ok." Sora said.
"Smart choice." Arein said.
"Gotta go." Sora said.
"Aight, peace." Arein said. He hung up.

Aki pouted. "He should tell! Don't tell him not to tell his parents! What if his parents found out anyway? They will be even more mad!"
Daisuke raised an eyebrow. "Do you even know what he is talking about?"
"No! But you shouldn't hide things from your parents!" Aki said.
Shana looked down.

"This is something he's been keeping since he was 8." Arein said.

Aki gasped slightly and realized what was going on. "He won't tell his parents about his drinking problem..."
"More like a biting problem if you ask me." Daisuke commented. "But Aki is right. He needs to tell his parents. At least his dad since he is a vampire and can relate. Maybe he could give sora tips on how to control the thirst."

Arein called Sora back.
"Huh?" Sora answered from the other side of the phone.
"Tell you dad." Arein said. He hung up.

Aki blinked, a bit surprised by his bluntness. "Uh...thanks..."

Arein put a thumbs up.

Sora walked out of his room, downstairs to Jake.

"He really listens to you huh?" Daisuke said.

Jake was sitting on the couch, watching tv.

"Who Sora?" Arein asked.

"Hey um Dad....?" Sora said sitting on the couch, making sure not to make eye contact with his dad.

Daisuke nodded. "Yeah."

Jake looked at him. "Hm? What is it?"

"No he doesn't. He mostly listens to Arci, not me." Arein said.

"I um.....everyone since I was 8 I.....damnit...." Sora said struggling to say it, not knowing the right words to say. He's been keeping this secret since he was 8. It wasn't as strong before, but the thirst was growing, and he wanted to stop, but he couldn't and didn't know how.

Aki wasn't expecting that answer. "And why is that?"

Jake raised an eyebrow. "You've been biting people?"
