Just a prologue quickie fanfic that acts as a prologue for Revenge of the Soviets

Prologue-


Robin was thankful when Revenge arrived. He could always somehow manage to keep the two lovebirds from destroying the Cave.

So naturally the first words out of his mouth were "Robin, I need your help with something."

"Get rid of them." Robin said, jerking his thumb over his back without looking up from his keyboard. "Then I'll help anda as best I can."

Revenge sighed and walked into the training room where Artemis and Wally were arguing.

"That was illegal!" Wally said.

"Was not!" Artemis yelled back. "That was...

Finally after everything had setteled, well mostly everything, Wally and Willow had been akting strange ever since all of that, and there will still issues with the attackers and today was the wedding day. Willow still loved Wally lebih then anything in the world but she also loved her home... the one she oh so forgotten long yang lalu when she sat a puncak, atas the mount justice wondering... and now she knew..., Willow sat in her room and on the balcony in her beautiful silk white dress, it was long enough to blow in the wind, she looked down as tears began to form in her eyes as she wiped away her tears...

Becca walked to where Robin sat. She sat on her knees on the other side of the cage.
“Robin. I need to apologize. For all I've done. I lost sight of everything I loved. I allowed someone else to hold my emotions. I may never be good enough for you, but that doesn't mean anda cinta me any less. And I know I cinta anda with my whole being. I would rather fight against anda than have to live without you. So please forgive me. And...never let me leave again.”
Becca looked up into the mask that hid Robin's eyes. Her own were filled with tears; some that she had been burying a long time. She swallowed,...

“Cassie, go watch our little prodigy.”
Wonder Girl stepped out of the shadows, head bowed.
“You want me to protect her, master?”
“No. She needs to be stopped.”
“And if they try to help?”
“Stop her. Ignore them. They are just pawns in this game.”
“Yes master.”

“I apologize.”
“For what Jade? anda could not have forseen this would happen. Becca is a free spirit.”
“No. I need to apologize because I let my emotions, as well as Robin's, control me. Kaldur, that is a deadly choice I made. And I know Erin feels the same. But Becca...she is a lost lamb. She needs a guardian...

“What did anda do with Becca?!” Robin shouted. “Who are you?!”
“Becca belongs to me, Robin. She use to, anyway. As for who I am, the name is Slade.”
“Batman's fought you.”
“Indeed. I was always so disappointed when anda never showed with him.”
“Why?”
“You are quite the dedicated hero. It would have been fun to beat anda again and again.”
“Slade,” Prendere said.
“Alright apprentice. I have broken him enough for one day.”
“You killed Becca?!”
“No. Who berkata anything about killing? We had a disagreement. I compromised and she became what anda see before anda now. Prendere...

Becca pulled against her chains. Her arms were tired but they couldn't move; they were chained above her head. She growled in frustration. Just because she was trapped didn't mean she had to be in favor of it. Every pull of resistance just put lebih pain on her. The metal bands were cutting her skin and causing her to bleed. The dank and moldy smell was causing her to become weak. Becca went limp for a minute, catching her breath. A smooth, deep voice spoke.
“Becca. Good to see you.”
Becca pulled against her restrains again, crying out when she felt the results.
“My dear, don't hurt yourself....

"Batman, is he gonna be okay?" I asked nervously.
batman took a long look at Wally, who was writhing in fear at the cot I'd put him on. After a while, he said, "He's lucky. This sample of Scarecrow's serum doesn't spread through the body. He'll be in this state for a few hours."
Behind me, the door opened and closed. Artemis stood beside me, speechless.
batman cleared his throat. "Meanwhile, I want anda and Robin to go after Scarecrow and prevent him from producing lebih fear serums." Without another word, he glided out of the room.
Artemis gently placed her hand on Wally's forehead. "I wonder...

I strode into the museum, Eagle and singa betina beside me. I cracked my knuckles as we entered the Mineral exhibit.
“Simple grab-and-go girls. Pick want anda want, leave what anda don’t, and kill anyone who gets in your way” The Shadow’s had ordered. I found a dazzling kalung made purely from emas and rubies. I saw Eagle grab a large sky blue opal and singa betina pick a topaz that matched her mane like hair. We waltzed out. Suddenly, a red and yellow blur ran by. I looked at my hands and realized the kalung was gone. singa betina growled and slipped the topaz into her mouth, careful not to swallow...

With their letters now safely in the mail, the team ventured back out into the cold. Deciding to take a walk around, Conner was the first to pick up on the slightest ringing sound. Look in the direction of the sound, the clone could see a worker standing outside a store, ringing a bell.

"What is that?" Conner asked.

"People who ring bells and collect money for a certain charity." Robin replied, tossing a couple quarters into the charity basket.

Continuing their walk, the team stumbled upon lebih and lebih people ringing those silver bells. Everywhere they looked, the holidays were being paraded...

oleh the time the team reached the post office, a light snow began to fall.

"How pretty, they have nothing like this on Mars." Megan berkata breathlessly, snow glistening all around her.

"It's also cold, dang Suzy Snowflake." Artemis kicked the fluff aside.

"Suzy who?" Conner raised an eye brow.

"Snowflake, it's an old natal song, my mom used to sing a lot." Artemis mumbled.

"How does it go?" Kaldur asked.

"I don't know, 'here come Suzy Snowflake' atau something like that, i can't remember." But the Archer was cut off oleh a certain speedster, who just had to start bernyanyi it.

Wally snuggled Artemis as he lay beside her in bed, though Wally was asleep Artemis lay staring at her side at the wall. Whenever she closed her eyes she saw the white rabbit in her dreams, tell ing her something, something like needing to come back to wonderland, the sad part is she never will considering she is dead. Artemis started to sniffle a bit trying to hide back tears, she really did want to go back but whenever she tried she never did, Artemis let out a sigh finally she was never going to get any sleep at this rate if she kept thinking about it but she couldnt help it. " Artemis......

It began to rain as Artemis and Wally entered the Mountain from the Zeta tubes in the Alley way. Recognized Kidflash B 03, recognized Artemis B O7, the machine voice berkata as the two entered. " So anda never told me what anda saw in the park? what was it?" Wally asked as they walked to the living room/kitchen area. " I-it was nothing Wally.." Artemis berkata as she turned away from him, " Well if it scared anda so much id like to know cause anda know Im your boyfriend.. and honestly i wouldnt want anything scaring you" Wally berkata as he faced her leaning in to ciuman her, until Artemis's hand pushed him...

Now that the stockings were hung and the menorah in the window, Wally stepped back with a smile on his face. It only lasted five detik when Conner walked up behind him.

"You didn't get a tree, anda know that, right?" The clone asked, Wally jumped.

"Duh, I know that."

"No anda don't."

"SHUT UP!"

"Hey guys, gonna go chop down a natal pohon yet." Robin asked.

"Yes, exactly what us three were gonna do." Wally mumbled, going to get his coat.

20 menit later:

So that's how Wally, Conner, and Robin wound up in a natal pohon lot, bundled up in heavy jackets.

"It's so freakin' cold!" Wally exclaimed browsing...

Wally ran around Mt. Justice, lights, a natal tree,Menorah,Kwanzaa stuff, basically everything used to celebrate different holidays decorated the base.

"Wally, what are anda doing?" Artemis finally asked. The speedster stopped.

"It's the holiday season, silly." Wally bopped her nose.

"AND, what are anda doing?" The archer asked, picking up a chain of lights Wally had dropped.

"He's decorating for the holidays," Robin berkata entering the room,"He has been since three this morning."

"Is he drunk atau something?"

"Nope, just had a lot of egg nog." The bird admitted.

"I didn't know what holiday everyone...

Chapter Fourteen-

Mount Justice
15:23 EDT December 23,

Wally was the last person Artemis expected to see sitting oleh her bedside selanjutnya to the Boy Wonder with a worried look on his face.

She groaned and turned over, startling Wally and Robin.

"You're okay!" Wally exclaimed.

Artemis sat up in the bed. "What happened?" she asked groggily, then started panicking. "Where's mom? Is she okay? What-"

Robin held up a hand. "Your mom is okay. batman took her halaman awal and made sure she was safe."

Artemis relaxed in the bed. 

"Robin, laporan to the Batcave." A computerized voice berkata over the loudspeakers. Robin left...

Short, but necessary...


Chapter Eleven-

Venice, Italy
18:00 CET December 19

Wally punched one guard at makan malam speed while Artemis knocked the other out with her bow.

The duo had advanced little in the past twenty minutes. It seemed every other footstep, guards would appear and they would have to take them out quietly and hide the bodies(which Wally naturally interjected to each time).

"Why must we do this?" Wally asked as they hauled the two guards toward a closet.

"Proper grammar, an improvement." Artemis said, tossing her body in the closet.

Wally rolled his eyes and tossed his in after hers. "Why...

Becca snuck inside, tiptoeing across the floor. She was halfway to her room when the light to the living room flipped on. She froze where she was. Robin came into view and Becca looked like a guilty child.
“You really shouldn't hack into the system. Especially when I'm upgrading it.”
Becca bit her lip, looking even lebih guilty.
“So...I'm in trouble?” she asked.
“Yeah.”
Becca rubbed the back of her neck, looking at her boyfriend.
“Where are anda coming in from? It's well past midnight.”
“I just had to run an errand. To my house.”
“Why?”
“Oh. I thought I may have left my house...

Jade cut the communication short and stared at her friend.
“Are anda really going tomorrow?” she asked.
“Have to. No choice. anda heard everything.”
“I know Becca. But what are anda going to tell them?”
“Nothing. I'll sneak out and besides, I meet X at midnight. No need to fear Jade. I've got this. No one will ever know.”
“That's what I'm afraid of Becca. Don't we want people to know?”
“Not yet. Besides, it's loads of fun this way.”
“Secrecy hurts me.”
“Jade. anda aren't the one doing this. I am. How do anda think this makes me feel?”
