Artemis was calmly walking down the sidewalk in bintang City. Today she was going to visit Green panah for an extra training excersice he wanted her to learn; berkata it would help in battle. He'd promised it would only be the two of them so she was surprised when she saw Red panah aka Roy Harper sitting on the edge of a low wall.
“Hey what are anda doing here?” she asked.
“Just a little challenge. Is that allowed?”
“O-of course! Absolutely! I-I mean yes.”
Artemis blushed, flustered oleh the adorable smirk on Roy's face. She turned to her mentor.
“Can we start?”she muttered.
Green panah laughed.
“Sure. Grab you're bow.”
“What flavor do anda want?”
“Roy. Should we be eating this? We just finished training.”
“Artemis, it's fine. Now, what flavor?”
Artemis looked through the chilled glass and read all the labels. Finally, she pointed at one.
“Mint cokelat chip.”
Roy turned to the server.
“One double scoop of Mint cokelat chip and one of strawberry.”.
When they got their ice cream, Artemis reached for her wallet. Roy's hand grabbed her wrist.
“I've got it.”
“But Roy-”
“I've got it!”
Artemis pouted but licked the dripping i ce cream off her cone. They walked down the jalan, street and towards the park.
“I hope anda know this isn't a date,” Roy explained.
“Duh!” Artemis exclamied to hide her falling heart.
The two walked, bumping into each other every one in a while due to the busy streets. The sun glistened off of Roy's perfect red hair and Artemis was tempted to run her hand through it. But she kept herself in tight restrain. As they walked through the park, a girl from Artemis' school, Barbara “Babs” Gordon, came towards the pair.
“Hey Artemis! Fancy meeting anda here!”
“Hey Babs. How're things?”
“Busy. All these AP classes are killing me but I need the points.”
“Why don't anda ask Dick Grayson to help you?”
“Tried. But his over-protective father won't allow it; Dick's been kidnapped too many times.”
“Oh yeah. I heard about that. What was this last one? A villianous son getting revenge because his father was fired from Wayne Industies?”
“Something like that.”
Roy cleared his throat. Artemis blushed.
“I'm sorry! Roy this is Babs. Babs, Roy.”
The two shook.
“Pleasure.”
“the pleasure's all mine. I've never met a man as handsome as anda before.”
Roy grinned and immediately the flirt fest was on. Artemis was fumming inside but kept her outter appearance calm. Until Babs felt Roy's biceps. That's when Artemis lost it.
“Stop flirting! I get it; anda like each other! But don't do it in front of me!”
Artemis turned and stomped off. Roy smiled.
“Thanks Babs. Tell Dick I berkata hi.”
“You got it. Hope everything goes according to plan!”
Roy caught up and grabbed Artemis' wrist. She stopped but didn't turn his way. So he went in front of her. Her blue eyes didn't met his. He titled her chin up.
“hey look. I didn't mean to make anda upset. I thought anda would just tell her to go away; I didn't think you'd leave.”
“You planned this?!”
“Maybe?”
“Why?”
Instead of using words, Roy placed his lips against hers. He was pleased when she responded immediately. He smiled and kissed her with a little bit lebih passion. She gave him what he took and Artemis felt her jantung bursting with joy. Roy pulled away.
'Because I cinta you.”
Artemis smiled at him.
“I cinta anda too.”
She bit her lip, smiled, and looked down.
“Do you...does this mean we're...together?” she asked.
“Yes.”
Artemis looked up at him.
“In that case...”
Artemis brought his lips back to hers and tangeled her hair in his hair. The silky red hair she was finally able to run her fingers through. He brought her closer and Artemis smiled. There was no need for cupid to be present; the archers had taken care of it themselves.
