“What is the urgent news?” Kaldur asked Batman.
The Caped Crusader stood before them, emotions wiped from his face. He opened his mouth to speak. The Flash interrupted him.
“We have a big problem and we need your help. Hi Becca! Bye Becca!”
As the Flash sped away, they turned to look at Becca who was leaning against the doorjamb.
“Hi Flash! Bye Flash!” she called back.
She jumped a detik later and there was a loud crash before an even louder moan.
“Ow!!!”
“Sorry Flash,” Becca called.
The Flash stood oleh her a detik later.
“You are a devil. But you're loads of fun!”
Becca smiled up at the hero before the two turned to the others.
“The Flash has been giving me some extra training. We have this on going war,” she explained.
“And I need to get better because, so far, I'm loosing!”
“How do anda play?” Wally asked.
“One of us will try and out-maneuver the other. Simple but deadly.”
“Especially when anda play with this chick.”
Flash cracked his neck before sighing.
“Gotta go. See anda later kids!”
Becca laughed as she walked into the room.
“Excuse the interruption,” Kaldur pardoned. “Please, continue.”
“You are to be joined oleh two lebih heroes. Shade is one of them.”
Becca smiled triumphantly and stepped into place.
“The other is Cassie Sandsmark. She is also known as Wonder Girl.”
The team turned as a blonde haired girl came in. She blinked her blue eyes as she adjusted to the change in light. She was dressed in a red tank puncak, atas that clung to her body and stopped at her stomach. A black sabuk held up her dark red pants and black boots were on her feet. Silver bands protected her wrists and the Wonder Woman insignia was on her chest. A golden lasso hung at her hip.
“Hey. I'm Megan! This is Connor, Kaldur, Wally, Artemis-”
“This is Robin and I'm Shade. Nice to meet anda Cassie,” Becca interjected, not looking very happy at all.
“Hi. Um, how are all of you?”
“We're fine,” Becca answered.
Her eyes narrowed at the girl in front of her before widening. She put a hand to her head.
“Ahn! Excuse me I-I need some air.”
Becca ran out of the room and batman nodded for his protege to follow her.
“I'm sorry about Shade,” Megan said. “She must not be feeling well.”
“It's alright. I know it must be hard for her to accept a new member.”
“I don't know,” Artemis rejected. “She's never acted this way before.”
“Well, I'm sure she'll be alright.”
“I hope you're right Cassie.”
Megan lost all her charm when she looked at Cassie. The new member wasn't staring at her but at something behind her. Megan followed the girl's line of vision and almost gasped. Cassie was staring at her boyfriend! And she was not going to get away with it. This meant war!
