”It will be a fight to the death. Who will win? Who will die? Place your bets!” Roulette announced. Black Canary and Huntress stood on either side of us. I stood back to back with Green Arrow.
“So, which one of us takes Huntress and who takes Canary?” he asked
“Neither” I said. I made a ball of light around Black Canary and then shoved Huntress in. I brought it closer.
“Canary! It’s me, Night!” I said. She screamed her supersonic scream. I lost concentration and fell to my knees. The bubble faded. Huntress brought out her crossbow and shot at us.
“Now, we may need to fight her” I said. I rushed Canary while Green panah ran at Huntress.
“Canary? What’s wrong with you?” I asked. I ducked as she kicked. She brought her foot down and I rolled away. I swiped her feet out from under her and held her down. I took out her earpiece.
“Can any Justice Leaguers hear me!?” I asked
“I can” Green panah said
“Aside from you” I growled
“J’onn? Batman? Wonder Woman? Shayera? Anyone?” I asked
“Dinah? anda sound young” komentar a new voice
“It’s not Canary. It’s a really close friend. She’s in trouble. We- ” I broke off when I heard static
“Ah, ah, ah. No free calls” Roulette said. I looked up and noticed faint sound rings coming from a booth. I saw two white patches on either side of Canary’s head. I ripped them off and Canary looked like she just woke from a daze.
“Night? Why are anda pinning me to the ground?” she asked
“Roulette brainwashed anda and Huntress to fight against me and Green panah to the death” I said, getting up. Huntress had Green panah pinned to the ground. I ran at her and did a flying kick and kicked her off. I ripped off the white patches. She shook her head and looked around.
“I really don’t want to know” she said
“You and Black Canary were brainwashed to fight me and Green panah to the death” I explained, helping her up.
“See? I didn’t want to know” she pointed out. She looked around.
“Canary, could anda break the glass with a scream?” Huntress asked. She nodded. We all stepped back. Canary screamed. The glass didn’t even crack.
“See, I learned from your last little visit hear” Roulette smiled. I smirked.
“I bet you’ve never seen me before” I wagered “So anda don’t know what I can do” I walked to the wall. I put my hand into a fist, my thumb on the outside. I punched with all my strength. I small hole appeared. I pulled back the glass and made the hole big enough for Green panah to fit through. I smirked at Roulette. She smirked back.
“Finally, we have one last contestant. Superman!” Roulette said
