Caitlin Tresp moved to my small town in Tennessee when we were in fourth grade,which was two years ago.This is her story so far.
So,she moved here in fourth grade.She was in my class.It was her first day,and she was already being bullied.By everyone.Ecxept for my friends and I.Jessica,Molly,Chyanne,Tori and me.It was like she was already part of the group.We all got along greatly.But later in the year,Jessica and Caitlin got in a fight at recess.When we went back inside,we all had to talk to our teacher,Mrs.McDonald.By the end of the dayit was all sorted out...or so I thought.For the rest of the tahun at least,everyone got along
On the first hari of fifth grade,we were all happy to see each other.We had a lot of catching up to do.Everyone was best buds,until about half-way through the year.Everyone started hating Caitlin because she talked about dirty things.But other than that she was a good friend.But I didn't hang out with her.I am extremly guilty now,but I didn't talk to her because I thought my other friends would stop liking me too.But I realize now,that if they are truly my friends,they won't care who my other friends are.If only I had known then...
That brings us up to this year,sixth grade.Caitlin was being bullied even worse.I think it's because we're in middle school,which means we switch classes.Everyone thinks they're hot stuff.At the beginning of the year,I didn't talk to her,just like everyone else.But then I realized,she had no friends.None.So,I started talking to her again,and sitting with her at lunch.I didn't care what the rest of my grade thought.
The other hari at lunch,I took my usual spot across from Caitlin and beside my new friend Ashley.Caitlin was almost in tears.She told us she was trying to convince her parents to pindah back to Centerville,the city she moved from.She berkata it was because everyone was always so mean to her,even though she straightned up over the summer.She was purly nice.They thought she was retarded.That did it for me.I was so mad!When I got to my mom's classroom,I exploded.How could people be so,so just plain mean?She never did anything to them.I didn't know what I'd do if my best friend moved away.That was something I had just realized.Caitlin was my best friend.Not Tori,Chyanne,Molly atau Jessica,though I had known them for so much longer.Caitlin didn't care who my friends were,unlike the others.And she would listen to me when I had something to say,unlike my other friends.They wouldn't even let me say one word before they interrupted.Caitlin was,is,and always will be,my one true best friend.No matter if she moves atau not.I'll try to keep in touch with her if she does.No,I WILL keep in touch if she does.Caitlin changed the way I saw the world.I wouldn't let my best friend just disappear.
