One afternoon, Sapphire sat in her room, on her bed, quietly bermimpi with her headphones in. Her eyes were glazed over, and she was in her own magical world.
Sapphire entered the sparkling cave in the middle of the forest. Her blue dress was tattered, and her misty berwarna merah muda, merah muda fairy wings were damp from the moist, warm air. But she was feeling fine.
Sapphire took a few steps into the sparkling cave. It was made entirely of ice and crystal. Trickling water could be heard as miniature streams fell continuously from the ceiling. Icy stalagmites stood firmly in the cold crystal floor. Icicles hung from the ceiling. The entire cave sparkled. It was mesmerizing.
Sapphire reached to touch one of the crystals. It was smooth and rough at the same time - an amazing texture. It was cold to the touch, too.
Sapphire slid off her silver satin flat and took another step, taking in the sensation of walking barefoot against the icy crystal floor. She walked meneruskan, ke depan and stuck her hand through one of the falling streams of water. It was brisk, but it felt amazing.
Sapphire took in every moment. It was so amazing, being able to see and touch all these things.
But then she remembered...this was just a daydream.....
Sapphire opened her eyes slowly, adjusting to her surroundings. It wasn't as pretty atau sensational as the last scene she had been in, that was for sure. But it was a lot warmer and softer than the cave.
Sapphire slid off her tempat tidur and fixed herself a plate of fruit. She went outside and sat in the grass, munching buah-buahan and staring into the sky.
A few menit later, a tiny voice could be heard getting closer.
"Hey! Sapphire!"
Sapphire sat unfazed. She didn't notice the voice.
A tap on her shoulder rattled Sapphire from her hazy state. She whipped around to see Carol, her best friend. Her golden blond hair was tied into a high pony, and her skin was glowing from the sunshine. She was staring down at Sapphire.
"What're ya doin'?"
Sapphire brushed a strand of karamel hair away from her face and shrugged. "I dunno. Sitting?"
Carol laughed. She sunk down to a squat and ran her fingers through the dirt and grass. She plucked a blade from the ground and flicked it at Sapphire's arm. "Wanna go to the park?"
Sapphire fiddled with a stick. "I guess so. Do anda want me to bring Delia?"
"Your little sister?" Carol asked. "Okay. If she's fine with it."
Sapphire looked around, eventually locking her blue eyes on the clear sky. She was just about to fall into another daydream when Carol snatched the stick from Sapphire's hands, stood up, and gave it a hard throw into the woods.
"Hey!" Sapphire couldn't stop herself from giggling. "What was that for?"
"What?" Carol asked with an innocent-slash-puzzled grin. But her tone gave her away. "Just wanted to do something."
Sapphire rolled onto her back, then sat up. "Okay, anda win. Let's just go to the park."
Carol gave a pleased-with-myself-because-I-did-it-and-I-regret-nothing grin.
Sapphire, deciding not to acknowledge it, said, "Gimme a sec. I need to check with Delia."
Carol shrugged. "Okay, whatever anda need."
Sapphire stepped into the house. "Delia?"
Sapphire's little sister could be heard from her room. "Yeah?"
"Do anda want to go to the park?"
"Okay!" Delia cheered, running past Sapphire and out to the yard.
"Come on!" Carol shouted as she started walking away. Sapphire ran to catch up.
"Wait up!!"
Sapphire sat on the park bench quietly, scanning the area as though she was watching over the park. Delia was swinging, Carol was watching clouds, and some kids were playing kickball in the middle of the park.
Sapphire's eyes began to glaze over. The park became an unnoticed part of her vision as she faded off...
Sapphire's misty sage cat eyes flickered as she prowled through the lush green plant life. Her large paws crushed the rocks into the earth, and her sides brushed oleh the leaves. She looked up to see parrots flying from trees and squawking, and slightly lower to see a small pond populated oleh frogs and fish. She followed a long dirt path until she reached a lake. She waded right through it, shook herself off, and climbed onto a high rock. She watched over the rainforest. It was a beautiful place, and a great home...
"Hey!"
The short, loud yelp startled Sapphire. She stood up. The bench had made her rear end numb. She flopped into the rumput and rolled onto her back. "Yeah?"
"You spaced out," Carol berkata in a tone that definitely sounded lebih like isn't it obvious?
Sapphire stretched. "Just daydreaming."
"News flash," Carol berkata with a comforting smile. "You do that a lot."
"You say it like it's a bad thing," Sapphire retorted, sitting up.
Carol shrugged. "Not really. Now come on! Delia wants to get ice cream."
Sapphire walked along with Carol. But in her mind, she was repeating one thing:
Daydreamer.

It’s the color of you
anda always wore it
It’s the color we shared
As we hid from them
With it we showed our true selves,
Though no one cared
Our jeruk, orange book bags
Were our shields from some of the pain
We protected each other
But it wasn’t enough
We were like two jeruk, orange crayons
When everyone else was green
Then anda left me alone,
All I had was our color orange
As they hit me
I took peace in knowing
anda were in the jeruk, orange field in the sky
anda always berkata was there.
The jeruk, orange of the sun set
Is your smile
Even though anda left too soon
Orange…
Now it’s my color
My way of remembering you
Now I am the lone jeruk, orange in the rainbow
Without anda here
I protect my own
Though I wish anda were here
Now jeruk, orange is my color
A color for your bravery
A color for my survival
jeruk, orange will forever be our color
Even though death took anda away
Forever jeruk, orange for you,
Sweet Cassidy.

Violently, the ground shook,
As the mountain exhaled black smoke.
Overwhelmed, they ran for cover,
Those left began to choke.
Cherished, were the possessions left behind,
Melted and scattered as ash.
Beloved, the children lost,
They couldn’t make a cepat, swift dash.
Darkened, the cloudy heavens above,
Black clouds fell from the sky.
Covered, the people escaping,
With no way out they began to die.
Lost, the souls of the trapped,
A snatched half-chance at life.
Fallen is Pompeii;
Civilisation, cinta and it’s people’s cries.
