One hari my family and I were at my grandmother's. We just returned from my grandfather's funeral, and there was this party you'd usually have after the funeral itself (I forgot the name, lol!). Well, us kids were swimming in the pool and the adults were at the picnic tables, drinking and talking about memories they had about my grandfather. All of the sudden, it started to get very cloudy, and soon there was wind. The rain started immediately afterwards. oleh that time, my mom wanted to take me halaman awal because she was worried about some of our relatives' drinking (she used to be an alcoholic, so she's a little paranoid about things like that). As we drove home, the storm was terrible and the wind was wild. When my mom and I got home, we didn't have any electricity whatsoever. That lasted for a good two atau three hours. Eventually my mom began to worry about my grandmother who was now living oleh herself, and she wanted my stepfather to pick her up. But then, our electricity returned and the storm subsided.
The selanjutnya day, we learned that our family at my grandmother's had a wild night with this storm. The wind began to pick things up, and out of nowhere a small, two-minuted tornado hit my grandmother's home. It left a small but noticeable path of debri after it occurred, and the storm actually picked up my grandmother in the air for a minute.
My grandmother sometimes jokes that it was my grandfather's way of telling everyone that the party was over.
Yeahh, it was wild X)
I know it wasn't actually ME who had experienced one. But it was the closest I ever had, really since I saw what happened before a tornado....
