Chapter 5°
This Is Not An Introduction°

Logan had apologized to her for missing her birthday, and she had berkata it was fine. But inside, it had hurt, no one had remembered but... Weeks had passed, time to get over it. Right? She hadn't gotten on her account in a while, she wasn't trying to become distant, but, why did she feel so alone? Snapping out of her thoughts, she looked up at her school, she could already feel dread building up inside her. Pulling up her hoodie, she stepped onto the rumput and walked across the courtyard to where they let her grade in. Freshman, to be exact. Bright yellow and jeruk, orange leaves were scattered on the ground, most of them had shriveled up and died, deep inside she could relate. Her depression seemed to be getting worse everyday, some days, however, weren't always as bad as the others. Those other days it was like a constant pressure was being forced down on her, like she was drowning and she couldn't swim up, only deeper into the dark and murky waters, not enough air in her lungs, everyone else could breathe just fine.

Taking in a deep breath, she clutched her hoodie, making sure her earbuds were in, drowning out the loud chatter from everyone as they waited to be let in. She sat down on a bench, her legs crossed as she kept her head down. Looking around, she stared at groups around the courtyard, they all had something in common, they were all smiling, laughing, excited as they jumped around with energy. Feeling a hand tap her shoulder she jumped and yelped, falling off the bench, she landed with her side pressed against the concrete, her elbow stung a little. A few people looked over at the commotion but others were too busy in their own little worlds. Chloe slowly sat up and looked to see a girl, with a boy looking awfully similar to her. The girl was tall, thin with a soft and pretty face. Her eyes were a Beautiful dark blue. She had light brown hair with the ends dyed pink, the boy selanjutnya to her was slightly shorter, still rather tall for being a Freshman, but with the same physique. Matching eyes as the girl selanjutnya to him, but his seemed to pop since his light brown heir was dyed with blue.

"Oh! I am so sorry!" The girl said, her eyes widening with worry, the boy selanjutnya to her held back a snicker. Chloe shook her head, the kap, hood of her hoodie falling down. She ran a hand through her messy short brown hair.

"It's fine..." Chloe said, looking away and grabbing her earbuds and putting them in her bag with her phone. The girl gave her a sweet smile which startled Chloe.

"I'm Symphony, atau Sym, and this is my twin, Hayden." She said, gesturing towards the boy who gave her a small smile and a two fingered salute.

"Uhm..." Chloe berkata quietly, she berkata never had to introduce herself to anyone at school except the teacher's when school first started, everyone knew who she was. Everyone just pretended she wasn't there, which was fine. She started playing with her sleeves.

"And your name is...?" Symphony asked, putting her hands on the bench, leaning over towards Chloe.

"Oh... Um, Chloe?"

"Are ya sure about that?" Symphony asked, giggling a bit. Chloe's face flushed red, her mouth opened and closed, not knowing what to say.
Why are they talking to me?
She questioned herself, the bel, bell rang and she quickly stood up, berkata a quite goodbye and bolted towards the door. Not knowing how to feel about the interaction.

Chloe was already sitting in class, working on some homework she had forgotten to do the night before. She kept scribbling but she jumped when a hand slammed on her desk. She looked up to see Annabelle, her sneer turned into a smirk as Chloe looked down and around trying to avoid the icy stare she was giving her. She flipped her black hair over her shoulder and grabbed the piece of paper Chloe was working on, crumpling it a bit at the top, an evil grin spread across her face.

"Well... Look at what we have here." She cooed, her voice cold and deadly, "Someone didn't do their homework last night." She hissed, her eyes glittering with amusement. "Come on, Annabelle, give it back." Chloe pleaded, not feeling especially brave towards her. People were starting to stare as Chloe stood up, reaching for her paper which Annabelle held up and out of her reach.

"Hmmm... Beg little girl. Beg for your paper back." She cooed, snickering at Chloe who jumped to try and grab her paper, trying not to cry.

"Why don't anda give her paper back?"
