If it was a sequel I feel it might go the way of the Saw movies, (how Jigsaw died, yet they keep finding ridiculous loopholes to keep the story going) and I feel that would do a disservice to the original, which was a masterpiece.

I think a prequel would be pretty interesting to see, but there isn't really much to work off of to make a sequel.
