generaly, when tv shows finish airing the entire series, there would be a dvd release afterwards. the problem is unlike the US and UK, season 3 from what i've read has yet to be shown on TV in australia. and that might be the reason why it may not come out on dvd very soon.
and so i'd suggest that anda try emailing walt disney entertainment because ABC, which airs ugly betty in the US, is owned oleh disney. plus, walt disney are the distributors of the dvd. it was for the first season, buena vista although this has changed since then.
i will say it is very unlikely anda will get a response. but it might be worth giving it a go.

This is a shame. Ugly Betty is going off the air on Australia’s Channel 7.
selanjutnya week will be the last episode for now, but the network indicated that the remaining episodes will return later in the year. (Unlike the US and many of the other places Ugly Betty airs, it is NOT summer repeat season in Australia, because, well, it’s not summer).
At least, I’m assuming that Channel 7 does just as networks do in the US, starting the televisi season in the fall. If I’m mistaken, please feel free to correct me.
The series has struggled on Wednesday nights against shows Nine’s api 000 (1.24m) and cari and Rescue (1.24m). Last night it was third (944,000) behind the 7:30 laporan (1.07m) and New Inventors (997,000). Ouch.
Maybe losing Wiki Kiwi Alan Dale (who starred in Aussie soap opera Neighbors) had a major impact on the show’s popularity.
As far as I know Ugly Betty is thriving in the US and UK (although ratings were down somewhat), and struggling in France (due to having an odd schedule). It’s interesting to me to see the different reactions to the tampil worldwide.
It’s a shame, too, because I have a feeling Ugly Betty is about to really improve creatively in season 3.
