Carlisle took a blood test, but I had to bite my own hand so the needle could get through. I was curiously fascinated. I'd never seen my own blood before. It looked pretty normal, considering I was half vampire.

"Renesmee, if it isn't too much to ask, do anda mind if I test your blood lebih than strictly necessary? It would probably help - " he said, hesitantly.
"Don't even worry about it," I smiled at him.

He placed the vial of my blood in a small velcroed case, and told me it might take a while to test through everything that was needed and what he was curious about. I glanced at the small punture wound on my hand, startled that it was already a small, pink, scar. I held up my hand and said, dryly, "When they say I have 24 chromosomal pairs, they're obviously talking about a lot of the perks."

When I left his study, Carlisle was looking ecstatic. Jacob hadn't berkata a word the entire time we were in there, he was visibly relieved when my hand had healed over so quickly, before Carlisle had even tried to bandage it up. I looked down at it, now it was white.

Rosalie and my dad were glaring at one another from their opposite positions in the living room.

I mentally asked my dad what was going on he just shook his head, and stared pointedly at Jacob.

What was with them?
