As soon as Jacob points out the perahu that's ours, I get on. He climbs in after me and sets the GPS system.
I start programming the sleek seacraft to my satisfaction and as soon as we are about 100 meters away from the harbour, Jacob comes up behind me. I shiver lightly. It's almost dusk. Jacob folds his arms around my waist, and I turn to smile at him.
"I can't concentrate when anda do that," I complain lightly. He doesn't release his grip. I don't want him to.
"How much longer, captain?"
"Maybe half an hour."
Eventually, I begin to see the small shape of some far off piece of land.
"There it is," Jacob says, ciuman my forehead.
A small circular island, witha diameter of about 1km, comes into view. Jacobs points me towards the dock, and almost as soon the perahu is tied down, Jacob hoists our luggage up, and tells me to follow him.
We walk around the island, and along the way, I collect seashells, since Jacob wouldn't let me carry anything. Bizarrely, I become triumphant as I find a large one. Jacob starts snorting, and I demand, "What's so funny?"
"Nothing. It's just how weord anda get when anda find something that interests you."
I push him, but I may as well have been shoving a brick wall. Actually, scratch that, I've pushed walls over before.
Suddenly, on the other side of the island, a beautiful house with a glass front, just like the one we have at home, comes into view. The lights are on, causing it to resemble a display case. The glass dinding faces the ocean. oleh now, the evening bintang has just come out, and the house is beautiful.
"All yours," Jacob says.
"I cinta it!"
"I'm glad anda do."
We enter the house, and Jacob drops our luggage off in our room.
