End of Chapter 22

When she was in he room, Jacob Black turned to face me. The look on his face was far from friendly, he stalked towards me..his whole body beginning to tremble.

"Get it off your chest boy." I berkata as I stood my ground.

"BOY!! Don't call me boy!" He berkata as he got right selanjutnya to me and bent town so his face was closer to mine.

"Back off, I don't have time for this! Say what anda have to say so I can get going to save my brother." I berkata between my teeth, the beginnings of a growl starting in my chest.

"Why? Why do anda have to take her?" He yelled.

"I'm not forcing her to do anything! This is her call, she knows she will be aman, brankas with me." I berkata calmly as I got myself under control.

Bella came down the stairs, stopping on the bottom step. Her eyes wide as she watched her friend and I yell at each other. She shrunk back into the stairs, trying not to interrupt our conversation.

"You might control yourself on occasion, but these leeches you're taking her to." Jacob started to say before I interrupted him.

"Yes You're right, dog." I snarled. "The Volturi are the very essence of our kind..they are the reason your hair stands on end when anda smell me. They are the substance of our nightmares, the dread behind your instincts. I'm not unaware of that."

"And anda take her to them like a bottle of wine for a party!" He yelled.

"You think she'd be better off if I left her here alone, with Victoria stalking her?" I laughed.

"We can handle the read head." Jacob said.

"Then why is she still hunting!?" I berkata loudly.

Jacob started growling, his whole body shaking in anger. I felt myself lowering into a defensive position, knowing that this is something I didn't want to do at this point..but if he was going to loose it I would protect myself and Bella.

Chapter 23

"Stop that!!!" Bella yelled as she ran down the stairs towards Jacob and I. "Argue when we get back, let's go." She berkata as she pulled on my arm.

I looked back at Jacob before turning and running out the front door. I was just out the front door when I remembered the other 'wolf boys' that were sitting in the car.

When they spotted me they both sat up straight in their seats, the larger of the two reached his hand over to the handle and began to open the door. I laughed loudly at both of them, "Don't bother boy's...we're leaving." I berkata as I smiled at both of them.

I ran over and jumped in the car, looking back to see Jacob holding Bella oleh the arm. Apparently he was begging her to stay here..which wouldn't work. I looked at the clock realizing we didn't have much time if we wanted to make the flight. I revved the engine impatiently, hoping she would catch the hint.

I saw Bella shake her head quickly, tears flinging to the ground a she pulled her arm free of Jacob's hand.

"Don't die, Bella." He yelled. "Don't go. Don't." He begged.

"Bye, Jake." She berkata as she kissed his hand and ran for the car.

I was just about to open the window to tell him that was no way to talk to a lady when Bella ran and jumped in the car, slamming the door behind her. She threw her head back against the headrest, tears flowing down her face. She rolled down the window and yelled, "Take care of Charlie."

I wasn't sure if he would have heard her, because when she threw her head back he turned and ran into the woods..phasing before he even made it. His friends now stood outside his car, confused looks on their faces. I giggled softly as I accelerated down the street.

Bella held her head in her hands for most the trip, tears falling continuously down her face. I tried to sooth her, but every time I spoke she seemed to cry harder. When she cried herself out we were pulling into the airport.

"I'm sorry Alice." She sniffed.

"Don't apologize to me, please, Bella." I asked as I reached over and wiped another tear off her face.

"Oh..I'm a mess." She berkata as she pulled the vanity mirror down and looked at herself.

"No one will care, we're going to be sitting on a plane for quite a few hours." I berkata as I pulled into a empty luar angkasa in the lowest parking level.

I went to the bagasi, batang and pulled out my small suitcase, and Bella's bag. I also removed a berwarna merah muda, merah muda scarf and black over sized hat and put them both on. Bella looked at me for a long detik before she shook her head.

"Even a HUGE hat and berwarna merah muda, merah muda scarf...you still are too cute." She berkata as she looked at my outfit.

I laughed at her and grabbed her hand, trying to leading her into the airport. We jogged to the ticket counter and quickly registered ourselves. I took a small black credit card out of my wallet and handed it to the guy behind the counter.

"Thank anda Miss. Benson." He berkata as he handed the card back to me. "Enjoy your trip."

We got in line to board the plane, Bella either biting her lower lip atau biting her nails because she was nervous. I put my hand on hers and smiled up at her, "Calm, calm Bella..we need to keep calm until we know more."

She nodded and followed the person in front of us onto the plane. The stewardess took our tickets and ushered us up to first class. Bella stopped the detik she saw the seats, her jaw hanging down in surprise.

The stewardess just smiled and ushered us to first class. Bella walked in and sat in her seat, jaw still hanging open. The first class was separate, each kursi that folds out to be a 6 foot bed, plasma TVs hung in front of each seat, and each had it's own small phone selanjutnya to it.

"Thank you." I berkata to the stewardess as I ushered Bella to her seat.

"How much did anda pay!?" She asked as I laughed.

"Don't worry about it, get settled. We'll be in the air in no time then I will come back." I berkata as I walked back to my suite, which was selanjutnya to hers.

Once we were in the air, I couldn't help laughing at her as she bounced in her seat, making both of our seats move.

"It's faster then running." I berkata as I put my hand on her shoulder, explaining myself.

She nodded and tried to sit still, obviously Bella did not enjoy planes...I would have to tell Edward if...when we found him.

I smiled over at her again as I reached for the phone selanjutnya to me. I quickly swiped my credit card and dialed Jasper's cell, hoping that he would answer.

"Alice? Oh Alice what is going on? Are anda alright? I should have come with you." Jasper berkata quickly.

"Jazz, calm down please? I'm alright, don't worry about me. We're on a plane right now." I berkata quickly as Bella watched me.

"Oh Alice, I'm so sorry. Please forgive me. We're all worried sick."

"Of course Jasper. Has anyone talked to Edward?" I asked so quietly Bella wouldn't hear me.

"No, no one has spoken to him since Rosalie. What is he planning? What is he doing?" He asked. I knew that everyone at the house was now listening to his side of the conversation.

I closed my eyes and focused before I could answer. "I can't be sure, I keep seeing different things, he keeps changing his mind...A killing spree through the city, attacking the guard, lifting a car over his head in the main square...mostly things that wold expose them...he knows that's the fastest way to force a reaction." I berkata as the gambar kept flashing.

"Emmett and Rosalie were trying to talk everyone into going to Italy, I was thinking of going with." He said.

"No, anda can't! Tell Emmett no!" I responded before he finished talking.

"I can't, they already left." He berkata quietly.

"Well go after Emmett and Rosalie and bring them back!" I said.

"Why should I?"

"Think about, Jasper. If he sees any of us what do anda think he will do?" I berkata bitterly.

"Oh...good point. He won't believe any of us, he will run and hide until he find the perfect opening." Jasper berkata as he realized what I was saying.

"Exactly. I think Bella is the only chance...if there is a chance." I berkata as I looked at her out of the corner of my eye.

"Yes she may be the only chance. Don't do anything stupid please."

"I'll do everything that can be done, but prepare Carlisle; the odds aren't good." I whispered.

"Alice, so help me if anything happens to you..I will go to hell and back to bring anda back." He snarled.

"I've thought about that already Jazz." I berkata as I laughed.

"Promise me anda will come halaman awal to me when this is done. Promise we will never be apart again." He berkata sadly.

"Yes, I promise. Just one thing Jasper." I berkata as I thought of the ultimate promise.

"Anything love, anything at all."

"Don't follow me." I whispered.

"I promise, I know anda need to do this. Promise me anda will do everything anda can to come home, anda will get out of there and come halaman awal soon." He pleaded.

"I promise Jasper. One way atau another, I'll get out....and I cinta you." I berkata as I hung my head, silent sobs escaping my lips.

"I cinta anda too. Never forget that, I cinta you." He berkata as I hung up the phone and leaned my head back against the seat.

"I hate lying to him." I berkata to the ceiling.
