Born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Caesar, also known as Monty or Tony, was apart of the population of poor that lived there. He is the third oldest of his six siblings, three in which he had had to face being crammed into a single room with for the majority of his time as a child until they finally were able to afford a place that had more than just three rooms. His father being hard working man and his mother an ethical woman, Caesar would eventually inherit both of these traits in order to help better the lives of his family as well as his own. And these traits would develop further within the years that he and his family managed to scrape by with whatever they could gather. 

During his years of highschool, Caesar made it a priority to attempt to keep a job to help with bills and getting food for his family all while saving every penny that he could. With his eldest brother having fell into the tragedy of heavy drug addiction and the oldest wanting nothing to do with them, he had no other choice. By this time Caesar had also learned to become resourceful, so he didn't allow himself to be limited to just a job. On the weekends when school nor work was an issue, he took to odd jobs and mowing lawns. And eventually, when he was able to, he picked up a part-time job. And for the most, his hard work paid off. By the time he was a junior, he had saved up enough to help move his family into a nicer neighborhood in Las Cruces. However, this came at the expense of his health. Exhaustion along with getting much less supposed to paired with maintaining his occupations on top of school took a merciless tole. 

It occurred in the middle of his junior year. One evening while at work after school, Caesar suddenly collapsed during his shift. It was later on that day after being rushed to the hospital that his life would be changed forever.
