I own a Mac, and I just got the Mac version of The Sims 2. I know my laptop meets all the requirements for the game, and the game is brand new.

I installed the game, and when I went to load it, it froze during the intro. I kept trying, and it freezes at the exact same point. I've tried uninstalling and installing again, but it freezes at the same point. It gives me an option to report or ignore. Does anyone know how to fix this so I can play?

Also, when I installed the game, and took the disk, out and tried playing WITHOUT the disk, it wouldn't let me. Does anyone know how to be able to play it without the disk?
