Isn't the line between the two a little blurred? I think it would be a nightmare going through it but if I ended up with Erik it would probably be something I looked back on in my older years as a fantasy. If I ended up with Raoul I suppose it would always be a nightmare.

Based on the 2004 movie - a nightmare.. "In sleep he sang to me" that in itself is a nightmare..
If it were based on the musical if would be a fantasy with some nightmares in there. At least my Phantom would actually be able to sing.

There would be some elements of a fantasy there, I won't deny, but still...the man tried to kill her fiance to force her into staying. Nightmare!
