Yes, I have a red medal in this spot because A LONG TIME AGO I loved this show. A lot. But I've recently quit. I can't stand seeing my (ex) favorite show go down the drain, dying a slow death.

It's like I'm not even watching the same show I fell in love with. I hate all the characters now, and most importantly, the humor has changed. It's changed from subtle, smart humor to poop humor. No thank you.

I could write a whole soapbox on this, but I will spare you all.

I was just curious to see how many other people feel the way I do. It's sad that it has come to this, but I'm glad I quit watching it. I don't miss it. *sigh* I'm off to pop in my season 3 DVDs and relive the glory days. :')

It's my second favorite show, behind NCIS, but i only started watching it a few months ago... I just finished the first 3 seasons and seen a few of the newer episodes, I love Jam so I'm really glad they are together now but it is going to slowly decline in ratings, viewers etc :/ Which sucks, it was/is an amazing show <3

I don't really watch it anymore, mainly because it's on at the same time as Supernatural. But when I get really bored, I'll watch recent episodes on Hulu, so I guess I haven't given up completely.

I agree with you, though. It's gone downhill and it's not pretty. It's really sad - it used to be an amazing show. I'm not sure exactly what happened to make everything turn out this way... but I kind of blame JAM. True, you can't have six seasons of will they/won't they tension - but come on. Everything moved so fast with them, they're boring now. They're married & they have a kid. Woohoo. Michael's even more obnoxious than he used to be, the new receptionist sucks, Andy's pathetic, Angela's a whore... Dwight is the only person on the show that can still make me laugh on occasion.

Aaaand now, I am shutting up. =P

I agree with almost everything you said, Dasm. However, I don't blame Jam for ruining the show. Yes, they are boring now, but I think it's refreshing to see a couple that actually gets their happy ending on TV. I think Jam getting together and the show's humor changing just happened to a horrible coincidence that happened at the same time. I'm also going to blame the writer's strike that took place during mid-S4. It just hasn't been the same since then.

I'll still watch the show if Rainn stays, I support him. If he leaves i'm done. I don't care about Jam I don't care about their marriage and I don't care about their baby. I think they ruined it, they were always boring to me and all the more interesting ships I cared about had to die for their mediocrity. It makes me mad.

I still like it! The humor HAS changed, but there are still some good episodes... I don't see what everyone is upset about. It's not as good as it used to be but it's still a funny show... and I love Dwight, so... yeah

I'm still interested to watch. I am waiting to see if Michael ever finds his soul mate and if Dwight and Angela will finally get back together. It's a pipe dream, I know, but there is still hope.

Definitely seasons 1-4 are the strongest, season 5 also has its moments... maybe season 6 is not so great and I don't know how it's going to continue without Michael but I haven't given up on the show yet, I love Jim&Pam and Dwight too much!
And I think Jim&Pam's relationship is one of the best on tv, it's definitely the healthiest and more realistic, and it's a breath of fresh air to have seen their relationship grow so well throughout the seasons. :D

I kind of stopped - I don't really watch newer episodes, but I still watch the old ones all the time!
