I would have loved to see that but Mischa wanted to leave so even if she hasn't died, we wouldn't have had a season 4 with Marissa.

Maybe she didn't have to die per say but Marissa being gone was kind of a breath of fresh air, IMO. I was so sick and tired of her constant drama and the irritating Ryan/Marissa pairing by that point.

i agree with seddi4Ever, she didn't have to die but she NEEDED to leave the show, she was such drama queen selfish bitch who didn't care about anyone but herself and played with ryan's heart and mind like a yoyo whenever she felt/was bored/in a mood
