Then a forest green Jeep pulled around the corner in the distance. The Jeep swerved around that hairpin curve and sped toward them so fast Jason was sure that whoever was in the back kursi was having major motion sickness
As it pulled up , The passenger door opened, and out came a hulking figure in a tattered flannel kemeja and jeans. The figure turned around and rubbed its eyes...make that eye. Jason did a double take on its face. IT WAS A CYCLOPS. the cyclops saw Annabeth and broke into a huge grin. "Annabeth!" The monster berkata in a deep childish voice ,as it loped towards her excitedly. Jason instinctively reached into his pocket for his coin. Which wasn't there.It had been destroyed in a fight with a giant in the quest to save Hera.
"Tyson!" Annabeth berkata gleefully.She gave him a huge hug and wiped a tear from her eye. "miss Percy" Tyson berkata sadly "Me to big guy,me too" She berkata ,patting him on the back.
Meanwhile,a scrawny satyr with brown hair and a scraggly goatee , who looked to be around his teenage years came out of the Jeep."Grover!"Annabeth berkata happily."Hi,Annabeth" the satyr berkata wearily .
Finally ,out of the drivers side came a teenage girl in denim shorts(which was a little weird because it was like,40 degrees Fahrenheit,but Jason had a feeling the girl knew that that wasn't going to be the case pretty soon.) and white blouse.she was wearing an army fatigue jaket like Leo's over it. she had long curly elegant black hair draped over her shoulder.
She was wearing sunglasses,but then she took them off he saw that she had Fierce,deep sea greenish blue eyes , and when the light changed they looked so deep and colorful,that it looked like they were glowing and shimmering under water,so it took him a menit to take in the rest of her face,but he saw that she had highly sculpted cheekbones and her skin was creamy and white.
She was beautiful. but she looked a little nervous. Then she fixed her gaze on something to Jason's left. when he glanced over he realized it was the golden fleece.
She stared down at camp like she was seeing it for the first time.He realized it must have changed so much since she left. Then she narrowed her eyes and studied Jason and all the other surroundings critically,then thought for a moment before walking up to Jason.
"Hello"she said."My names Settora Rivers.My friends used to call me Storm ".she berkata brightly,but a little nervous."whats your name ?"
"Jason Grace,"he replied."And this is Piper McLean." He added as piper walked over."Hi"She berkata to the girl tightly.what was up with her,Jason thought.To his surprise,Settora grinned at Piper.",Hi there "she berkata .Piper smiled awkwardly.
As every one got introduced to Settora,She explained that her Family had rented a house in Montana were she had spent the last few years.she had been attacked oleh a a lot of monsters,and Grover and Tyson had been willing to bring her back to camp for protection after a particularly dangerous monster attack.she looked sad at the memory.
"This is Tyson."Annabeth was telling Leo and Piper when Jason walked up."Percy's little brother."
"What?" Leo asked ,confused.
"Cyclops's are the spawn of gods and nature spirits,and Tyson's father was Poseidon.He was even claimed here at camp."Annabeth explained.
As Settora went of with Annabeth to the big house,Jason & Leo watched them go.Jason could tell Leo was tired.He had been working non-stop this last few weeks to get that ship made.It was coming along super fast,and Jason was surprised how hard Leo was working.Leo didn't seem like the "hard-working" type...
He guessed it was because this was so important.As Jason went of to the sword arena,he had the strangest feeling that there were going to be some obstacles before that ship was finally done.
