I have always rooted for the under dog, but I can feel it in my jantung that some way, Ted and Robin will end up back together.

They make me believe in hope, in love, and defying the odds.
Sure everyone preaches she isn't the mother, but no one berkata Ted wasn't divorced, atau widowed. Who knows, he will find his way back to Robin, "I don't want perfect, I want Robin."

Yeah, Barney and Robin are great friends, but when they went out they only made each other miserable, and nearly killed each other.

Ted and Robin, were always good as friends and more.
Just watch one scene with them and tell me there still isn't something there.

freshfunkpride Barney and Robin do work, and I know that they will end up together! Both of their characters still have a lot more growing and maturing to do before they are ready for that relationship. Lily screwed things up a bit in Definitions when she forced them to have "The Talk." It put all sorts of pressure on them and in the end it became too much. Barney's character has been growing immensely lately, and he has begun to realize that he's not going to be that swinging bachelor forever. Once he and Robin have both experienced some more character growth they will realize that no one on the Earth will make them as happy as each other. Referencing the ep "Hopeless:" Barney: "Deep down you know you were never happier than when you were with her." He said this as if it was his father's perspective, but his father doesn't even know that they dated, let alone how happy he was during. Barney was also very spaced out and dreamy when he said this. Lastly, Ted and Robin have absolutely nothing in common. They're polar opposites, and in this case, opposites do NOT attract. He's a sappy romantic, she's a cynical smart-ass. He reads ancient literature, she plays laser tag and smokes cigars. She just works so much better with Barney. (Not to mention in the ep. "Hopeless" the disgust she showed at having to act like she was Ted's girlfriend.) I agree that in "The Rough Patch" and the beginning of Season 5 in general, Barney/Robin didn't work. But that was because they both weren't ready for the relationship yet. Mark my words-- they WILL end up together. You wait and see :) ♥
