I'm a total wuss when it comes to gore! I hate horror flicks and I watch the show in spite of the icky parts. I usually close my eyes! I wouldn't mind if they toned it down, but I doubt that will happen. There's a lot of fans out there who like it.

NO man it's perfect! I like it when the ep's are proper scary! This last ep actually had me peering through my fingers at one point! It was intense and i loved it - the gore ties into that!

I am the world's biggest wuss, but one of my problems with this season is that it's just not scary enough.
This latest ep made up for it though. But seriously, I love it when this show makes me jump out of my seat (Asylum, Family Remains) or when I have to watch away because I can't handle the gore (The Seven Deadly Sins, Time Is On My Side).

Probably why season three is my fav season, it was so scary and gory <3

no way!!! i like the gory ones, even though im only 12. the last episode was gory and creepy, so as lunaste sed, it kinda made up for it!!! :D

I can't stand gore in any other show but I think that I've just become used to it in SPN and now I expect it. It just wouldn't be right otherwise!

Like, after I watched Skin for the first time, I had to fast forward through the part where the shapeshifter changed from Dean to Becky. It just creeped me out too much. And the demons getting exorcised I have trouble sitting through, too.

demons getting exorcised is no problem for me, it's just black smoke. it's the bloody/fleshy stuff that gets me

I don't find it that gory, they tend to move the camera away rather than show loads of blood, extreme injuries etc. That is what I'd call gory.

I am ok with the gore, really I watch medical shows all the time that show weirder and worse things than Supernatural. I can't watch it in front of my parents, though, because my mom gives me this look, like, "What the actual hell are you watching", and that's rather unfortunate, but if you look up the show on Wikipedia, it's listed as "horror" and it's way tamer than say, a horror movie. If you don't like the gore, just look away from the screen. Most bloody scenes last ten seconds, tops.

^I think the horror is more the monsters and character deaths than gore.
