He definitely felt something for the Wind sorceress, but I believe in the komik jepang and anime, it was only an innate curiosity about her, about how she was so defiant and outwardly rebellious toward the half demon that gave her life. She didn't really follow orders, and when she did, one could tell that she didn't enjoy helping such an evil creature. If anything, Sesshomaru is looking for points of interest in his life, which is why, to me, he lets such creatures accompany him. The human girl, Rin, the innocent, and the irritating, boisterous Jaken, and the two headed dragon. Add Kagura to the mix, and he has a collection of sorts to the interest he has of certain personality types. Now, I think that this curiosity can spark into a huge, everlasting flame that would result in infatuation and love, but sadly, the komik jepang left us with her death, and the anime…left her with a hole in her chest. Now, in the world of fanfiction and wonderful, fandoms like this one, we as authors and creators can create these “feelings” from the character Sesshomaru. But as for the komik jepang and anime are concerned, I believe it was just curiosity and an intrigue for the red eyed, feather riding demon woman known as Kagura.
