Does anyone know how to stop rats from being food aggressive? I have a pair that will chomp anything that smells good whether it's food atau not and I cannot open their cage without them treating my fingers like carrots. They're really sweet and somewhat smart, though. They know their own names and like to groom my hands when on my tempat tidur with me and tour the house on my shoulders.

When ever I tell someone I have a pet tikus they think that I'm crazy. I get u2
it, but one time I was at a master race. When I took my little buddy out of his cage a lady started freakin out! "Ew!" "Is that a rat?!" She kept sayin g stud like that. My mom and I got so mad that we where about to put my tikus on her head, but I would not want my little buddy to suffer like that.
