I think the producers/writers are just messin' with us. trying to set up s6 to look like anything's possible, lol. I honestly liked how comfortable brucas was being friends and I thought it was good
of luke to help brooke with the baby, but I doubt anything's gonna happen. there were no nervous looks, or foreshadowing quotes like "it's always gonna be there isn't it"? no secret feelings that one or the other is hiding (like peyton in s4). nothing really to cling to but a few camera angles shot that made brucas looks like a family. I just said to myself "I know the brucas fans are gonna eat this up", lol. but i'm glad the brucas fans got their brucas scene :) (hope this doesn't offend brucas fans - i'm just talkin' :P)

side note: I was a little disappointed that their were no leyton scenes. There were quite a few scenes that addressed leytonvslundsey though. I figured this eppy would be more about lundsey.

i think that mabye mark is hinting towards brucas because peyton even admitted that her love wasnt entirely for lucas himself- but to the thought of him
and throughout the episode they had been hinting towards brooke and lucas as a family:
brooke asking for help,
luke asking brooke to stay longer,
angie loving luke,
brooke making it clear her and owen were OVER,
lucas and lindsey making it clear they were OVER,
lucas and peyton making it clear that their feelings werent true,
lucas putting his arm around brooke as she slept-
all the signs were there!
i'm just happy there is finally some competition for the two of them.
now its time for a real fight: whos gonna end up with lucas?

plus, luke was the only guy that she was "intimite" with that ever accepted her being a mommy

but leyton never made it clear that their feelings weren't true. Peyton simply admitted that she was in love with both luke and the idea of what they could have become. and lundsey never made it clear that it was over. lindsey's trying to help luke accept that it's over. i'm not saying don't hope for brucas, but I strongly doubt that lundsey's officially outa the cards. Luke's still holding on to her. so if anything...it's leyton, brucas or lundsey? I can understand why brucas fans are gonna hope again after this eppy, but just like the fake engagement brucas had, I think this eppy is just to keep the fans on their toes (that anything's possible).

well i think that there is lest hope for leyton, unfortunately, and more hope for brucas, which basically puts them on the same level
there is a 50/50 chance in my opinion- it's either going to be brooke or peyton (cause come on- lets face it. is mark really going to be that big of an idiot to place lucas with lindsey?)
i still think leyton has a little more hope, since mark likes leyton, yes. but brucas has a bit of a chance now.

Ughhhh!! Not again! It will honestly not make sense if BL came back i mean seriously, Lucas wrote 2 books about Peyton, mark has made Peyton cry over Lucas through out this season and in the end it will be BL? Doesn't really mix. Oh and we don't even know what will happen to LP since they're aren't that many scenes with them.

given that luke's second book was about peyton, that they kissed the same night luke proposed to lindsey, that luke got jealous both times he saw peyton with another man, and given that leyton clearly still have fire between them with pretty much every scene they've had this season, I'd say leyton has a much bigger chance compared to brucas. Neither of them have showed [virtually] any signs that they still had feelings together. they just hung out and luke helped her with her baby. she was desperate, lol.

but again, 1treehillfan, I'm not trying to take away your hope with brucas. I just really don't think that after this eppy that brucas is up to par with leyton @ a 50/50, lol. not after one night of playing house. but that's just me.

You can't blame us for having hope ;) The 'sleeping scene' was adorable and I would love for them to have way more scenes like that! And I know Mark is pro Leyton, but just can't give up hope that Brooke and Lucas is gonna happen again.

i hope not and not becuse i am a huge LP fan but becuse i am a HUGE Breyton fan! Peyton clearly has feelings for Lucas so the BL reunion would tear Breyton up and that is the last thing i want.
in addition for me it would be riddicilous to see another BLP triangle or even rectangle BLLP. Lucas is hot but not worthy that 3 women would fight over him!

but this is a show so who knows! i just know i would be very disappointed if BLP triangle comes back and tears up breyton!

Brooke said it herself: she knows what it was like to be the girl between luke and peyton and it was NOT a good place to be. She's been rooting for leyton pretty much all season. after the wedding was ruined (even though luke said I DO), brooke still told peyton to go after luke. brooke's grown too much to naively decide she suddenly wants to go there again with luke and go through what she went through both times she was with him. Brooke stronger and smarter than that. There was no chemistry that went beyond platonic in 5.15, but brucas fans can think what they want (I already knew it would get them rattled up).

I just think it's a friend helping out another friend. I was thinking about this and i think it's fair that BL fans get their BL scenes because they didn't really get any last season..lol
