Since this question's been asked before I thought I'd paste what I wrote before. Please don't stone me for choosing a mixture. I just found the best fit in the middle:

Sorry for choosing two couples, but I think leyton's one of a kind; so I found similarities that Leyton has to Jawson and Jacey.

Leyton is more like Jacey in my opinion (and a liiiitle like jawson when it comes to having issues being friends because of their history). Jacey never seemed to stand a chance (like leyton). Joey fell for Pacey but in secret because Dawson, her ex boyfriend who was still very much in love with her, was Pacey's best friend. Luke fell for Peyton, but Brooke, who was very much in love with lucas, was best friends with Peyton. When Dawson found out about Jacey (who tried to tell him the truth on many occasions), Jacey was forced to break up. When Brooke found out about leyton (who tried to tell brooke the truth on many occasions), Leyton had to break up as well.

Jacey finally went out (dunno which season), but it didn't work out because of circumstances; like Leyton (s4/5). but neither couple ever stopped loving.

By the end, Jacey found their way back. Just like leyton found their way back in s6. Dunno if they'll be endgame like Jacey though.

Guess we'll have to wait and see - you never know; Leyton might end up like Jawson in the end.

BTW,Pacey and Joey got back together in seasons 3,6,and in the series finale.

Thanks Seddie! I knew they tried twice and found their way back in the end (just like leyton were together in s1, 4, & found their way back in s6) but I wasn't sure of the times, thanks!

Definitely Dawson & Joey. I don't see anything in comment with LP and Joey/Pacey

It's not Jacey or Jawson. It's PJ and DJ (sorry, I'm a fanatic about Dawson's Creek). And I chose Dawson/Joey simply because of the notion of soulmates...these two people who try to be together and something gets them every time. Now, I'm a Brucas and I ship Pacey/Joey so at least I got my endgame couple on Dawson's Creek..and btw, Pacey and Joey are nothing alike Peyton and Lucas..the similarities are generally with the love triangle but then again that can be found in every tv show.

I was never fanatic of Dawson's Creek, and I don't remember the story very well but from what I remember I shipped Joey/Dawson. Now I'm a Leyton fan.
